Historical hotel right inside the train station . The only drawback is that most trains that have first class don’t stop here but at Queen St station . There is a free shuttle between two stations, but due to political protests that day the shuttle was not running .

This hotel is part of the Glasgow Central Train Station, so extremely convenient for train passengers, especially if arriving late in the evening as we did. Unfortunately the room we booked was not available, and we were down graded, and because we had booked with Expedia we could not be given any refund. Also we were told at the front desk there were no car rental offices within walking distance, which was completely incorrect! If you are looking for car rentals in the area, there are at least three a short walk away on Waterloo Street.

Cool hotel, great breakfast, super close to central train station. Also very close to all walkable areas. Enjoyed our stay. Bathroom layout super strange but worked fine. Glasgow as a city sucks though lol. Maybe great if you are there to party!

Great historic hotel right in the train station! Staff was excellent, room super roomy for Scotland (!) and the location was right in the city main area. Glasgow is a proper working mans city so be prepared for a bit of "gruff" but it was a very friendly city also!

First trip to Glasgow and as I came by train the hotels location was perfect. I was out and about most of the time, but when in the hotel the room was clean and quiet. I will stay here again on my next visit
