Great place to stay
It was great experience, the staff were very helpful and helped us celebrate our anniversary in style. The location is fantastic if you want to explore Edinburgh as it's near trams and bus stops. The hotel is also very quiet as it is off the main road. Street parking can be difficult so it would be better to arrive via public transport

We had a lovely stay in the premium King room. The location was the perfect distance for us to walk about and see the city. We had a brief safety concern when first arriving at our room, which was quickly resolved by the staff who were very understanding and kind.

We waited in the Nook bar for ages for a drink. The server was rude and the table wasn't cleaned. We were planning to have dinner in the restaurant but after waiting for a table we decided to take a cab and go elsewhere.

Location central to shopping and a five minute car ride to the the Royal Mile. Beautiful hotel with it's history maintained very well. We would go back in a heartbeat :-)
