The hotel is well located for exploring the city and the wider area, although within the immediate vicinity things seem to be a little run down or closing. The staff where excellent and couldn’t do enough for you and are what make this property . The rooms and property are clean but basic which you would expect from a budget hotel .

I appreciate that it's a budget hotel, but i didnt expect it to be run like a hostel, especially when it uses the Ibis brand. Out of the three nights i stayed, i was able to get 2 nights of good sleep because of noisy guests who wanted to party early on Sunday morning and my room wasn't attended to housekeeping once due to miscommunication and efforts by reception to reduce the workload of housekeeping by issuing little money off vouchers. The breakfast was really good. Much better than i expected. It was disappointing though to see non paying guests use the room for free due to confusion caused by a station giving free tea and coffee.

Basic is what you get. Grubby chipped paintwork. Dirty shower seals. Sticky vinyl bedroom floor. Very cosy toilet space and shower opens straight on to your bedroom. Tea and coffee only available on 6th floor reception to take back to your room. View from room was smokers quadrant in the centre of the hotel. If you want somewhere just to drop your bags and go then this will suit you.
