Not bad stay was comfortable

Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. There were clean towels on bed also coffee & tea available in room. Breakfast was nice either cooked breakfast or continental. Overall ok stay.

OK central accommodation for short stay

Pros: The room, the rate and the central location.
Cons: Security and customer service.
Location: Only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Glasgow and around 25 minutes walk from the SSE Hydro, where we attended a concert, the reason for our stay.
We had a two night stay and apart from the room itself which was nice and comfortable, overall it didn't feel that secure - the front door was ajar several times as we arrived or left. Leaving the key at reception didn't feel all that safe as we were told to leave it even if nobody was there, and when we arrived at the hotel each time we were only asked for our room number, no form of ID - as there were several different staff members, this meant anyone could have had access to the room. When the front door was locked, ringing the bell was all that was needed to gain access to the hotel. Our room lock was loose and did not feel very secure either. While staff were not unpleasant, they could have been more polite and friendly. We only had the continental breakfast, which was fine, so can not comment on the cooked one - it looked good though. On our last night, a group of young men were in rooms near us and arrived back at around 2am, making noise for most of the night thereafter. The rooms are not very soundproof. Our room was comfortable and reasonably attractive.

Overnight stay in Glasgow

Hotel was comfortable enough..though I wish I had asked for a ground level floor as there is no lift..easy walk into town, but a massive hill walk back up, so best get a taxi back. Breakfast was nice and continental had lots of choice..this hotel is value for money.
