This place was dirty, sheets was was not white they was yellowish , room smell like mold and mildew. I paid for two night but the left early because it was that bad I could sleep there for two night didn’t want to stay the first night but I checked in 3am When I woke up 8am I was itching and had a bug bit. I checked out Immediately and still waiting for my refund!!!!!!!!!!

Awful place. Right across from the beach you would think place would be old but clean. Nope. It’s old and gross and dirty. My goodness. This place is in desperate need of a coat of paint at the very least. Walls, bedsheets, mirrors, and lampshades were all stained. Ugh. There were holes in the walls, the carpet looks like it’s never been cleaned EVER. Bathroom pipes had rust running down the walls. Mold on the bathroom ceilings and shower curtains. Time to tear this place down and start over again. The pool looked nice. When I complain to the front desk about what the issues were in my room, they seemed completely unfazed by it like they’ve heard this hundreds of times before

The property was definitely bargain price. The hallways were warm, the carpets old/ripped, and the property was definitely older. But if a remodel is done, good luck getting a stay on A1A for under $200/night. That said, there was some dust on the wall in our room and on the hanging lights in the lobby. I would say it could use more cleaning, and elbow grease is free. Pros: AC in our room worked great, bed/linens were clean, check-in was easy, parking was easy, pool was nice/clean, and you are right on A1A and the beach. Location, location, location! Cons: Worn down, older, could be cleaned better Overall, a budget motel for a budget price. I would stay here again for a night or two on the ocean.

This property has a beautiful beach right across the street. It is in a very desirable area close to everything. The property itself is very unique with great history. Definitely needs refurbishing and updating but still to have the 1950 charm would be fantastic.

Nothing like the photos

The reception staff were good and apologetic for the state of the building. There is NO comparison from the Hotel.com web site to how this hotel looks. The photos on the web site must be 10 years old. I was told by the staff that it was under new management, however this was in November and nothing has been done to upgrade the hotel.

Great location

The place is situated in a fantastic location, offering convenient access to various attractions. However, it is important to note that the overall condition of the place appeared dated. The hallway rug was noticeably dingy and dirty, and the elevators showed signs of age and instability. Furthermore, maneuvering through the parking lot proved to be quite challenging. Unfortunately, my check-in experience was less than satisfactory. The front desk person encountered difficulties in locating my reservations from hotels.com, resulting in a longer check-in process than I had anticipated. Considering that I only stayed for one night, I couldn't help but feel that the amount I paid did not align with the value I received.

Don’t not stay here. Nasty and smelly rooms

This hotel was nasty and over priced. The first room had hair and brown stains on the sheets after complaining. Was finally given another room after waiting over an hour . Then was given another room that smelled and had a dirty bathroom. A waste of money, I ended up sleeping in my car and was refused a refund

Worse than a raggedy hotel. Hallways smelled like urine carpet in the rooms Hallways were dirty. Beds were old and sunken in. Swimming pool was very dirty. I paid $450 for 3 nights that was entirely too high for the quality room that it was this room shouldn't be more than $40 a night

“It’s the cheapest hotel across from the beach for a reason” -front desk lady. She said it best. Next time I’ll spend the extra money and go somewhere else. They have no idea how to work with Expedia so they decided to charge me after I already paid Expedia. Health department must be taking a white envelope in order to allow this place to keep operating in the condition that it’s in.
