Property is very dated. Could hear running kids and screaming until past midnight. Great location for pre cruise. Close to the port and walking to dining and a publix. Very expensive for the state the hotel is in. Room had peeling paint and chipped tiles in washroom.

Not Completely Happy

The hotel was convenient for what we needed it for. We drove in from VA to FL so we could settle in before our cruise took off the next day. Hotel staff at the front desk was nice and efficient. The food service area was not great. They were not very customer friendly and when I asked where the coffee was, the guy told me I could go buy a cup for $5. I think after the breakfast buffet is closed, they should still have coffee available. The room was clean, but the sofa bed had no bedding, so we had to call for it. That was a delay. Also, we had 4 people in our party and only 2 towels were provided, and 2 wash cloths. I asked housekeeping in the hall and it was like I was interrupting their conversation, they did not have any they said. I saw both of their carts were full of folded towels. The shampoo and body wash were completely out in the shower and only found out once we were in there to shower. Not good. The toilet was not working properly. You had to hold the handle down for a while and then it would gurgle, almost thinking it was going to overflow. TVs only had one remote for 2. You had to push with all your might just to change a channel. We were getting a room with balcony, but it did not have any chairs or a table like the others. That is very misleading.

Comfortable but inefficient

The aesthetics of the hotel were beautiful and the room/beds very comfortable. The limited elevators made for a very challenging time during breakfast as people were waiting a long time and elevators were packed to capacity. The breakfast itself was incredible chaotic and poorly managed. It was a good place for us to stop on our way to another destination but wouldn’t want to stay there too long.

We repeatedly asked for bedding, including a blanket and pillows, for the foldout bed, but they never responded. We had four in our room, but only two towels. Housekeeping and the front desk stopped answering their phone, so we spoke with guest services three times in three hours and they were even having trouble reaching anyone from housekeeping. The second time, housekeeping told the front desk staff they had delivered our requested items but they never did. We will never stay here again.
