Pros and cons

Initially we booked with this hotel because we stayed here previously and loved it. When booking, we were reminded of the back entrance that lead to the hotel bar/pool and a short walk across the street to the beach. Pros: great location, clean, free room upgrades, washer/dryer access, free access to 2 beach chairs Cons: constant banging from construction, bar and pool closed due to renovation. This construction also blocked off the short walk across the street to the beach. All in all, had we known these amenities were closed, we would have booked somewhere else. But to be fair, once construction is completed we will plan another stay here- just not until then

Construction was not an issue, we didn’t hear a thing! They’re working on one floor at a time so it was nice and quiet. We stayed in an upgraded corner room view and it was beautiful! Pool was closed, but that didn’t matter as the beach was a one minute walk around back!

I always stay in this property because of the convenience of the pool and getting to the beach. When I got there the pool was closed because of remodeling. They were remodeling the room next door so you can hear a lot of banging on the walls by 830am . When I booked I wasn’t told that the property was going thru a remodel.

The location is great, easy to walk to restaurants, close to the beach, but the beach chair and umbrella service was closed at 4pm which was too earlier for us. The period from 4pm to 7pm is a nice time to sit on the beach chair to relax and enjoy to ocean breeze after a day trip back from the downtown, but the chairs were all locked up at 4pm.

This hotel is by far the best! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Everyone there is happy to help. I really enjoyed my stay it didn’t bother me the pool was being renovated because there so much to do, see and eat anyway! 4-6 in the bistro you can gather with other patrons staying at the hotel. And omg I really enjoyed their complementary water, this might sound ridiculous but mint and cucumber kept us wanting more and more of that water!!! It was amazing something I will definitely make at home. I plan to return in the future and will happily stay here.

The property is currently under construction. You will not know this until you check in and receive a note that says “Construction starts at 9 AM.” then at 7 AM you will be woken up with a jackhammer directly above your room. If you plan on relaxing at any point, forget this hotel. It says on the amenities that there’s a restaurant at the hotel, but it’s closed because of the renovations. The hotel is a loud disaster. I’ve never had such a terrible experience.
