Loved the location, it is just steps from the Royal Mile and lots of attractions. The Tolbooth Tavern nearby was a great find. The building itself is really good as well. There is are lot of stairs, but also a lot of space which was very good for our famiy stay. The building does need some updates (ie carpet on stairs looks dingy, and there are banged up walls in the stairway is likely from lots of travellers). Overall though we loved the well stocked kitchen, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms!! The main living room tv did not work and when I messaged the owner I did not hear back. Minor flaws overall and I would still recommend this property, or stay again.

Very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for a big family or 3 couples. Lots of dinnerware, pots and pans. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent accommodation.
I had booked an apartment but we ended up in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse! In a great location, walking distance from Waverley station. Quality furnishings and bedding. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location but somewhat dated apartment
You are predominately paying for two things here - location and parking. Right in the centre of the city, the location can’t be faulted. The apartment however is somewhat dated and cheaply furnished. No outside ventilation in the bathroom makes it very stuffy. It’s also a bit of a squeeze if there are 4 full grown people staying! Good as a base for a short stay.

Excellent accommodation, was a bit confused getting the key at the start but that was down to my inability to bother reading the email, not the premises!! Would have liked more softness to deaden the echo. Everything is designed for easy clean so all laminate floors means very hollows and echos. Everything you needed to stay for a while in comfort.

Great, quiet location
Short stay with family also staying at the Royal Mile Accommodation. Our suite was clean and presentable but rather tired in comparison with their suite. Needed airing but staff immediately sorted this. Early access was much appreciated and on-site free parking was perfect. Great location, quiet and would certainly consider again.

Our second stay at this place.
This was our second time at this location and we are glad we booked here again. I’ll start with the only problem. The bedding is some of the most uncomfortable we have experienced — it isn’t fancy place, so lumpy pillows aren’t that big a problem. Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff: a casual home away from home. We will look to see if it’s available the next time we are in Edinburgh.

The location was excellent . . . right off the Royal Mile and a short walk from Waverley Station!, The self check-in was easy and communicated well in the emails/texts received. The accommodation was spacious for our family of five and felt like “a home”. It was so nice to have 3 bathrooms. Our request to stay a couple of hours longer was accommodated. We wish we could have stayed longer. ,
