Nice and recently renewed hotel located in the neighborhood of Leith: Edinburgh port. Very good breakfast with many options and kind staff. The city center is easily reachable in 15/20 minutes by tram, the same that connect this part of the city with the airport

Really nice hotel, great location in Leith with easy tram access to the centre of Edinburgh. Would highly recommend. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby in Leith too. The whole place has a really nice vibe.

The location and staff are great, however, the room specifically was dull, gray and slightly claustrophobic. Other suites are very well decorated but the standard room felt like it was going for prison-chic. The sheets also felt slightly "plasticy".

Slow Service left a Disappointed feeling.

Having stayed at this hotel a number of times before we were happy to book another stay. This time we were disappointed by slow service in checking in. We had to wait for ages while the only person on the check in dealt with an issue for the two couples in front of us in the queue. It was about a 20 min wait before another check in staff member appeared to check us in. At breakfast we were told our cooked breakfast would take 20 mins or so to be prepared as the kitchen was busy. It did not appear for 40 mins. The staff were apologetic and offered to refund the cost of the breakfast. The wait was disappointing as it meant the morning was rushed as we were meeting friends. I did not expect such poor service at a “Luxury Boutique hotel” where we were paying a premium price. We will think twice about staying here again.
