It was not good,would not recommend it.

The hotel was not the cleanest, our towel rack in the bathroom was broken ask several times to get it fixed, said they would send someone ,only came one time, to try to fix it .when house keeping came to clean up the room they never replenished tea or milk & on one occasion had to ask for toilet paper because they did not replenish the rolls.The service was terrible. On the day we were leaving we checked our bags until it was time for us to caught our train, when we came back to get them they only give us two of the three that we checked, so we had to tell them that there was other bag. We had to wait about 15 minutes until they find it. It almost made us miss our train.

A great location in the heart of old town. The rooms are very well appointed with microwave, small fridge and kitchen sink - all very useful. The service was good and staff helpful. We would definitely book back here again.

These apartments were lovely. It’s worth noting that there are stairs to gain access to most of the apartments. The lift does not avoid them all.

Nice room with great view. Limited room for cosmetics however. Also, water in shower VERY HARD to turn off and on. Otherwise great, friendly staff and very helpful in recommending dining options. Great location--quiet street but in the middle of it all.

Shower problem

Reception staff were very good. The suites were ideally situated, just off the Royal Mile but away from any noise. Our main problem was that the shower was difficult to operate. It wasn't clear how the system worked and the tap was extremely stiff. I can't believe that we were the first to complain about it, but obviously nothing has been done to repair it. I don't know what all the bathrooms are like but the side of the bath (ours was a shower over bath) was higher than normal and could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to manage.
