Well positioned hotel and good sized apartment which we would use again. Our only criticism related to the quality of the instructions for using the equipment - we never got the hob to work properly, there were no instructions for the dishwasher and there was insufficient

The location is great on the Royal Mile! Able to walk to lots of tourist attractions. Very clean and the breakfast was fresh.

Settee for a bed with dirty sheets

When you pay over £300 for 1 night you do not expect a settee for a bed?! Complained after checking in and was told there were no rooms with ‘real’ beds available. To top it off, found hairs in bedding and on the pillow. Spent over £600 for 2 nights here so couldn’t afford to move hotels.

Looks good But

Very clean and modern but 1st room was handicap and the wet bathroom had slow drain and collected water. Moved and upgraded but that room had one king and we had requested 2 singles plus it was on a noisy street. A little mold on shower ceiling and room air couldn't be used. We called and they said they'd have to turn on down there but nothing happened, so they said they'd go up to roof and reset but nothing happened. They said they had no fans. Too much money for these problems.

Good location

Well located apartment, comfortable and quiet. As per other reviews breakfast isn’t worth it (lots of nice cafes nearby or make your own in the kitchenette). Slightly tired, but fine for us.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. My second time here. Everything was provided in the studio room to make our stay amazing. Great location to explore Edinburgh. The parking was a few blocks away and not included but the hotel does offer a voucher for a reduced rate. Loading and unloading in front of the hotel can be tricky because it is a busy street but we had no problem. The soap in the bathroom is highly scented which may be an issue for some people.

This is my 3rd stay. Excellent hotel. I love having the kitchen and everything I need to make a meal etc. the beds are so comfortable! I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Edinburgh.

Great hotel right on the Royal Mile with sweet little kitchenette, coffee maker, 2-burner stove, little dishwasher, and glasses, mugs, dishes, wineglasses. Only thing I didn’t like was there was no place to hang the bath mats or hand towels.

Really great location towards the end of the Royal Mile. We arrived at 7am and got lucky that our room was ready. Hotel is clean, breakfast was nice and I’d definitely stay again

Average stay.Some confusion when we arrived as to payment which we had done in advance,poor room layout and lighting. Location on Royal Mile excellent,close to everything we needed.great meals in Hotel almost opposite.

An excellent location on the Canongate. Only 10-15 minutes walk to Edinburgh Castle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Apartment room, especially the bedroom was small. Kitchen was tiny. Air conditioning did not seem to work well.
