If you're looking for the perfect place to enjoy some family-friendly fun, make your way over to Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park! However, if you'd rather enjoy a little peaceful time outdoors, the large Henderson Beach State Park is only two miles west, offering a plethora of outdoor activities to choose from, like picnicking, hiking, boating, camping, and kayaking.

Parking was very tight and no room for kids to play. Kids playing ball in the street riding bikes. Exactly what kids should do just in a safer place.

Beware of description

Overall house was okay. Disappointed that the description said three king rooms and it only had two. This was a huge huge disappointment and we would not have booked if we would have know. House is about a 10 minute walk to beach. Community pool is amazing. There were plenty of house hold items so no disappointment there. Outside patio needs a little attention we found glass and cigarette butts. We cleaned it up so our kids did not get into.

Family vacation

We loved the house and the location was good. A short walk to the beach and about a block from the pool There is also a van that will pick you up and bring you back from the beach The house is well stocked with towels and the kitchen is well stocked as well

Trash Pile-up at the Village of Crystal Beach

The property wasn't to far from the beach, walking distance, the inside of the house was nice and clean for the most part but there were two smelly trash cans full of trash and bags of trash left from the previous renters on the front walk up (that I feel should've been removed by the cleaning crew). I called to report the issue when we arrived on Thursday, I was told it would be taken care of. Friday morning the trash truck ran but no pickup because the cans were not beside the road, I guess. I called again to inform front desk what was going on and was told again it would be handled. We checked out Sunday morning, the trash was still there and something had started to tear into the bags.

Nice family spot and convenient location

Clean and convenient location. Pool in neighborhood fun but busy. Only real downside is lack of smart TVs or Roku/Apple TV for streaming. Otherwise a great trip!

Winter Beach Getaway

This was the perfect place for an impromptu winter beach weekend! There was more than enough space for everyone and the beach was only a short walk away. I would definitely come back at any time of year.

We decided to have one last trip before winter. We picked sunny Florida. This was a perfect house for our two families to celebrate thanksgiving together. Easy walk to the beach. Nice heated pool for fall temps.

This is great for a family, close to beach. Pool was steps away. Outside areas smell when everyone’s trash sits out. I would come back.

The only thing you need to do is there are small roaches in the kitchen. Many of them. Yuk. That was the only thing that needs to be fixed

Summer beach

Location and layout of house were good. House was not real clean, had bugs in kitchen, lights that did not work, WiFi problems, two door knobs that fell off. Staff worked to correct but we had to live with the bugs. Disappointed in the cleaning of house prior to arrival. Smelled like smoke so we purchased air freshener to help.

Family Vacay 2020

Very nice! King bed upstairs needs new mattress. Kitchen was well stocked, but ice maker doesn’t work. Nice neighborhood and fun place to stay. Would definitely come again.
