Safety not good as well, penhendle people hanging out at back of property smoking and drinking, we almost got bag stolen when headed to water.

The hotel is tired and in need of repair and a good clean. There was even small dead birds in the debris around the walls in the pool area.For the cost of the room I was expecting more. On the plus side the beach is gorgeous and you get direct access from the hotel.

NO - do not stay here

Reserved and was confirmed 2 beds, arrived to 1 King. Was told they could refund me and I could go elsewhere. Water pressure was awful. The ceiling was literally falling . The room should not have been rented. Horrible stay

Our toilet didn’t flush, room smelled like mildew, no thermostat controls, got locked out of the room and had to wait for maintenance to come replace the entire lock and handle.

The staff was extremely nice. The property is very old and it shows. The ceilings in our room were disgusting, the shower DID NOT have hot water - heck it didn't even get warm so it was cold showers for us. The bed was comfortable and clean. There were children in the room above us running from one end of the room to the other at midnight and it continued until after I finally fell asleep at 1am. There were kids on the balcony with a megaphone at 10:30pm yelling through it and at the people walking by - they did this to my husband and I when we went to walk on the beach. We had people banging on our door the ENTIRE time at all hours. I really wanted so bad for this motel to be a little gem. I was wrong. Huge water bugs in the pool and the pool deck was trashed with trash and towels and a random metal detector just sitting out there. The deck area is under construction, but there was no good way to get on the beach from the property, you have to walk down the beach ramp which would not normally be a problem but with the construction it was just all screwed up. The bathroom was straight out of 1970. I do not think a thing has ever been changed and it felt really nasty. A positive though is that there was not a stitch of carpet in the room, THANK GOD! Room had an awful smell, and when you looked at the wall where the AC vent was it was just plain scary. The louvers were all busted out, it was rusty and moldy. Oceanfront = parking lot FYI.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed in

Worst Motel Ever No Water Pressure in Shower Water Didn't Drain in Tub Toilet Didn't Flush Bed was Horrible Metal Lamp next to ,Bed was Covered with Rust!!! Wouldn't Stay there ever again!!!

COVE EXPERIENCE

Me and my girlfriend was very sceptical, but was only staying one night. As I know this is a very old hotel, I stayed here 25 years ago. But gave it a chance on short notice and was not disappointed at all,,For the age!! Recommended to a few of our friends. And will be back.
