When Making the booking I expected a Near enough Luxury stay as that is what was claimed in the site. well I was pretty disappointed when I got there to discover that it was a converted church and that it was used for local groups, functions and other things. On arrival after finding the building, we pressed the phone retrieve button and eventually someone came to book us in, straight away without asking or showing us the room which we booked he then told us he was changing our room to another seemingly better room and not upstairs but downstairs so would save us going upstairs. Well if that was a luxury room I was already booked into and he had changed it to a better one...I am sure now it would be prefect. Well it wasnt luxury and it wasnt perfect, it was old and dated and pretty poor looking on the eyes, the bathroom was a bit of a mess, it was old and less than basic and it was cold, although there was a radiator in it which i eventually turned up a bit and it kinda helped. Considering the room and the building, well I looked at it as though you get what you pay for and the cost was very cheep and that was excellent. The dining room for breakfast was the main entrance people could walk in and out, rreally it wasnt a nice place to sit and eat your breakfast and the staff were very unhelpful to be honest. it self was self service, so items were in hotplates in the corner of the room. The eggs were cold and stuck together and looked like they had been lying days
