Horrible experience! This property is completely misrepresented in the listing photos. Tropical Backyard Oasis, it is not. The backyard has absolutely zero grass and the trees and plants are dying. The landscaping consists of broken concrete and stones with sharp edges. The interior was not clean and had a musty neglected smell with mold on the baseboards, bottom of the curtains and above the door frames. The floor was not clean and the kitchen sink was plugged up with debris. We rented for a month, but were so sickened by the condition that we left after 3 days. I wish that I could attach photos. The owner sent out someone to attempt to fix the sink, but it wasn’t resolved. Their response to our complaints was to take it as is or leave. We left as soon as we could find an alternative place. VRBO customer service intervened and refunded us their service fee and partial taxes, but the host did not give us back the full amount we were owed. VRBO was sent the photos and agreed that the property was misrepresented and that this should not be tolerated. I’m baffled as to why they are still allowing this listing to run with the fake photos. Fair warning!
