Family vacation to Clearwater Beach

It was not in the condition listed on Vrbo. Some things were broken and the place was not very clean. The tub was clogged and we couldn't shower without it overflowing until we went to Walmart and bought a snake for the drain. Also the master bedroom remotes didn't work for the tv and some of the drawers were broken. All in all it was peaceful and comfy inside and we enjoyed our vacation completely. No place is perfect.

Not bad- could be better

We booked this stay last minute adding a few days on the back of a business trip. Our choices were limited as we needed a Sunday-Wednesday stay. We narrowed it down to this property to be close to the beach/bars/ as our college age sons were joining us.First the GOOD:Communication w/ the property management team was outstanding, timely, & accurate. The property was a close walk to the beach, bars, convenience stores etc. There was a nice view of the intercostal/canal from the front of property outside the front door and some nice lounge chairs. Was a peaceful place to spend the mornings and on occasion we saw dolphins swimming around. The unit had nice beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, available for use and that was helpful.Now the not Not-So-Good: the rental unit was in need of repair as several things were broken, didn’t work, or simply worn out. Three of the closet doors were broken or off the tracks, a few of the dresser drawers were broken, the door from one of the bedrooms to the deck would not shut fully which meant if it was windy and the front door opened it would blow the deck door open. A few times my son woke up to the door being open. The clothes dryer lint trap slot was packed full and needed to be serviced. The kitchen sink was very loose & needs some maintenance. There were other little annoyances- broken switches, loose sockets, etc. but those were the main issues with the rental unit.

Family Weekend Stay

We had a great stay with our family. With the little kids, we appreciated the sand toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas available for our use. The condo was clean and an easy walk to the beach. Great communication with the host. We would gladly stay again!

Perfectly lovated

We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go, Which made for a hassle free relaxing vacation. The condo could use some repairs. The door to the washer and dryer is completely broken. Washer has mold.and could stand some deep cleaning, Overall everything is clean we would certainly stay there again but would hope some of the minor repairs would be addressed sooner than later.

Great location, pretty spacious condo

The location was great with the beach right across the street and restaurants all around. The condo had plenty room for us. It was good overall, yet it could use some updates/fixes for convenience and aesthetics. More lighting would be nice, along with towel racks and more comfortable furniture in the living room. The kitchen was nice enough and the beds were reasonably comfortable. A few updates would make it even better.

We’ll be back

We brought our 2 teenagers and a friend for each - the location was great for walking to the beach and shopping. A quick ride to Sand Key beach which is way more low-key than Clearwater Beach (easier to park and rent chairs/umbrellas). It would have been great if the house had a few chairs and a beach umbrella. Slept 6 comfortably. Each bedroom had a Smart TV and the kitchen was well appointed. We made great use of the washer/dryer although the dryer vent is like a jet engine so we ran it while we were out at the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Condo was laid out nice and it was clean. There are some things that need to be updated, fixed etc. master bath has a missing towel rod. Things to repair, fix or improve: loudest dryer in the world. Sounds like airplane engine. Condo needs a full length mirror and door hooks to hang towels. Some outlets don’t work. You have to manually turn on lamps. Some of the wall switches are not connected to lamps. No workers no locks on doors. Front door does lock the first time you close it. I hand to turn the handle up for it to work. Elevators are extremely slow.

The pictures accurately portray property. The views from balcony and other outdoor space are nice. The location is walking distance to restaurants, some shops, beach and bars. The kitchen is very nicely equipped. The condo has beach towels which is great! We rented it for the Clearwater Running Festival. It was perfect for the girls’ trip! We each had our own bedroom. There is a lot of construction across the street. Unfortunately, while we were there, the construction crew broke a gas line which caused inaccessibility to our building for several hours. Obviously, this had nothing to do with the rating. There are beach chairs that were probably left by previous guests. They have served their purpose and need to be thrown away. I would suggest the owner closely examine the extra items for wear and tear. The beds were comfortable but the other furniture is not. The sectional and futon need replaced. Also, only one elevator works and is very slow.

Great Vrbo!

The location was perfect! Only a short walk to the beach and other local restaurants and shops. All three bedrooms were good size and fit everything we needed. Kitchen was very nice and came with all the things we needed and more! Only complaints were they only gave us three rolls of toilet paper for a group of five adults for a full four day stay and the in unit washer had mold in it. Other than those few things this place was fantastic! I would highly recommend staying at this Vrbo.
