Wonderful- Rooms were beautiful. Restaurant on premises terrific. Wished we could have stayed longer. Great location when visiting the New Forest Park.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Pilgrim Inn for a long weekend with our dog. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable for all 3 of us and we loved the complimentary chocolates that had been thoughtfully paired with the coffee flavours on offer. Bed was very comfortable and the decor was very welcoming. Breakfasts were filling and their pub menu had some great items on it. If there was a very minor gripe, it would be no separation from the car park, but it wasn’t a huge deal. The location was ideal for all our exploration around the New Forest.
We loved our stay. The staff were amazing and very accomodating to our needs. It was extremely hot & humid the few days we were there and the staff found an extra fan for us. The pub right opposite had delicious meals, breakfast was amazing. Onsite parking was a plus.
This is in a good location for Southampton, the buildings are cleanish and the staff are OK.
But eat elsewhere because the food is rubbish; at dinner most things were off and breakfast was no better.
Dippy eggs, for instance, were hard boiled.
The sausage, like much of last night's grub, was cremated.
