I rented what is call the penthouse & the view was beautiful it was right on the beach they offer breakfast for an additional charge which I liked the breakfast was good & they bring it to your room! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well as the night guard very sweet man! The only bad thing was that it didn’t have parking but they have meter parking outside.

Nice spot on the water
Hotel was perfect for me. No frills but very comfortable, safe, on the water, and close to everything. Some discos nearby but I couldn’t hear any of the noise. Staff was friendly. People complain about getting in the water with the boats tied off, but I had no problems and really enjoyed swimming in the warm ocean water.

We were supposed to go there day of hurricane. I have tried to call them more than ten times, but did not answer. Then someone pick up the phone next day, and said it is safe to come in-spite of government warning. They only cared about money, and they even didn’t refund us. Knowing we are overseas visitors they said we can come on another day. They also said, we can and if hurricane hit the hotel they will transfer us to another facility. Our hotel staff in Merida advised us not to go to Playa, and also same afternoon public bus transport was ceased.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were cute and clean. The balconies are relaxing. Beach is on one end, 5th avenue the other end. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely stay here!

I picked this hotel for a vacation with my son so we could easily get to local dive shops for diving and find a variety of restaurants for meals since he and I are gluten free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early on day one and they were able to get us into our room an hour or so early. We had to change rooms because we stayed an extra day and the staff helped move our things since we were out diving all day. We didn’t try their breakfast, but we appreciated having a fridge, toaster and drinking water in our rooms. I would stay here again!
