A hidden gem. Loved this place.
Thought we were staying behind a gas station parking lot when we drove in, but boy were we surprised. Great property, very clean and constant daily ongoing upkeep around the grounds. Very good full breakfast, hot and cold, lots of choices. Friendly staff. Lovely pool area with lush greenery, not only around the pool but around the property. Great place to stay for access to the Keys, but not a lot of beach access in the Homestead area. Would stay again without a doubt if going to the Keys, and for some R&R just because it’s a great friendly place and so clean.

Never stayed at an American lodge before, but was expecting a little more for our $100 dollars although that included breakfast. The bed was metal so it was like sleeping on oil cans very noisy. The room was clean but very basic with a microwave stacked on top of the fridge. The staff were charming. Did not compare to UK budget hotels.
