This was a quiet, clean, safe neighborhood - Uber rides to more tourists areas were minimum 25 minutes away. But excellent restaurants and quiet beach all within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Superbe service from the front desk staff, went above and beyond. Location is perfect, in walking distance to the beach and with lots of dinning options and very fancy shopping if that's your thing. The property definitely needs a little upkeep here and there, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again

This hotel feels more like a run down motel. The staff were nice and accommodating, but this was the worst place I have ever stayed in Miami in terms of facilites, cleanliness, ambiance, and utilities in the room. The shower barely worked and the walls are so thin you can hear even conversations next door. I was up all night because of the loud extracurricular activities of the guests next door. The only positive aspects were the staff and location. Still would not consider a “VIP” hotel at all.

Great location. However, it seems to get worse every time. I’ve stayed here maybe 10 times in the last 3-4 months. A couple it times we left something in the room, the first was a shirt. Hotel staff never found it!! The second was an Apple Watch. Even though the location of the watch was showing on the phone as being there, staff was adamant that it wasn’t. It took angry phone call to finally get it. 3rd time we left personal times in the bedside drawer. I went back 3 hours later and was allowed to go back to the room, which had not been occupied yet, the drawer was empty but the staff said that nothing had been found! This last time we stayed at room 214B. ALL NIGHT there were 3 guys sitting in the porch talking and drinking beer, we could hear every word they said and even though I asked the front desk for help, nothing was done. So we had a totally sleepless night. It’s unnaceptable.
