Cheap, comfortable and convenient stay

This was a short stay as we got stranded in Miami from a delayed flight. Clarion Inn and Suites provided exactly what we needed: easy and late check in, late shuttle bus pick up (1130 pm) and early drop off (5am). The room was clean and beds comfortable. Toiletries were on point.

This place is a dump. We had two rooms, and the one my kids were in was really dirty and the toilet didn’t work. The staff gave zero effort. The girl that checked us in didn’t even crack a smile. No apology for the bad room, and no manager around. No explanation for parking, breakfast, or anything about the rooms or property. Don’t waste your money - pick another hotel

BUGS 🐛

I ended up in a different room because of bugs. Even the 2nd room had a 3rd kind of bug. No sense in switching rooms again!!

There was a very strong odor of what smelled like bug spray that dominated the room for the entire night. Carpet needed to be replaced. Lighting was poor. Size of the room was the biggest I have ever seen - even suites, but the smell was more powerful.

Close to the airport. Shuttle stops at all shuttle doors 5, 22, etc) as advertised and is 10 mins to the hotel. NO TEA NO coffee on common areas, the one available is inside the hotel restaurant and you have to pay for it. Gym small but convenient. Toilet was clogged on arrival. I would expect they clean it every time somebody check out and flush. But it appears not. 24 hour IHOP and gas station within walking distance. Other restaurants a bit further away but still walkable. Rooms are very spacious, carpet in good condition, microwave, mini fridge, iron, tv, one-cup coffee maker (no tea, only decaffeinated)

Had roaches. Flight got delayed, had to extend my stay a night and they made me pay $100 for incidentals two nights in a row. Would not pay more than 75 bucks to stay here.
