The resort is clean and well maintained. The food was consistently very good, if not excellent. We ate all the major restaurants that offered good variety. The barefoot grill which is the daytime beach/poolside eatery does a great job as well. Shoutout to Aldo who is fantastic. The people and service are great. The dining staff are hard working and detailed oriented. At checkin, we had a room (perfectly fine) but was on the other end of the large resort from the rest of our group. Edwin was so accommodating in trying to find a suitable change. He showed us 3 different rooms, and worked with us to get a great room. It set the tone for the whole trip. The Activities staff were phenomenal. They made sure you knew what was going on around the resort. There were things like Spanish lessons, bracelet making, table tennis tournaments, beach volleyball, dance lessons, aquafit, and much more. They were so welcoming and inclusive of our kids to participate too. Special shoutout to Manuel (Manny) and Marcos who remembered their names through the week and were just great to us. Lastly, the Explorers' Club (Kids 3-12) is well run. The staff were great with the kids, lots of different activities, movie nights, air hockey, soccer, crafts, dancing. Kids had a great time and would spend anywhere from 1-3 hours a day there. We had a truly wonderful experience at Dreams Los Cabos and will look to go back!

This is a great place for a Family vacation. Lots of activities for the kids - Spanish lessons, arts, crafts, face painting, contests, movies on the beach, camp out night, games and so much more. Restaurants were top notch. I can't really say one negative thing other than we didn't want to come home.

The hotel had a lot of beauty and charm. I really liked the view and the pools. It took a long time to get food and drinks. Also, the kids slide wasnt working and no one was trying to fix it. That type of stuff is frustrating when we picked this resort for certain amenities, and paid high prices.

The property was beautiful and had multiple options for a family to be entertained. The only issue I had was some of the staff’s lack of attention to people of color (specifically, the preferred client’s cabana area on the beach). We went several minutes without being responded to while people around us were being catered to.

Complete Disappointment
I’ve stayed at Dreams for many years and then took a break from visiting. I just returned to celebrate the promotion of a friend. It was horrific experience. The Conceirge was very kind, but this hotel has sadly become so run down. The room I paid $600 per night for was sub par. First they placed me in a room that was supposedly ocean view and it was a room overlooking the pool and if I squinted I could see the ocean. NOT an ocean view! The Conceirge who was very kind moved me, but the room was dirty, dark and no fluff. It was a large one bedroom with a living and dining room. We had two towels, a bar of soap and two wash cloths, which was just silly. Once I got past the room disappointment and embarrassment, we went to eat. The food at the buffet was so nasty with dried up chicken, steak and stale bread. I though it may be poor food because it was later in the day. That night we went to the Portofino restaurant that looked nice. Once again the food was so nasty that we decided to leave and go into town for dinner as the food was so bad. The next morning we went to the breakfast place and once again it was horrible food. We left and went into town for the breakfast and lunch as well as our final dinner. As I was checking out, I expressed my disappointment with the room, food and the volume of construction underway. I requested a 50% refund and was told management would call me and they never did. Horrible service and will never return. Look around for a better place!

Recently stayed for a wedding. The hotel room was disgusting: dust everywhere, stains on sofa, and bedding, mold on lamp shade, paper thin walls. The food was equally terrible. This is not a 5 star hotel. The isn’t even a 3 star hotel. Don’t stay here if you are looking for anything close to luxury or decent food.

The hotel over all is nice. The food was horrible ! Cocktails we had also weren’t great and we tried all kinds. We stayed at an all inclusive resort and definitely wasn’t worth it! We ate outside of the resort everyday ! We will not be staying here again.

The property was nice, they kept it clean! The dining options not so good, a different restaurant was closed each night, there were only really 2 to 3 options for dining, and the food was not so good. I was disappointed in the lack of selections, drinks were very watered down. Best part was the staff was absolutely the best! Great friendly people that work there, they made the experience nice!
