Welcome to Roosters Perch in Truman Annex, Porter Lane.

This large corner duplex is full of natural light and windows. Offering 2 spacious bedrooms both with queen beds, private balconies and spacious closets. A shared bathroom with shower is easily accessible from the hallway combining the two rooms.

The main floor features an open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living room with sofa sleeper. An additional powder room is located on the main floor as well as a spacious rear patio deck with outdoor dining seating for 4.

This home is an end unit with neighbors only on one side offering ample privacy.

Porter Lane is one of the most popular complexes within Truman Annex and offers quick access to Mallory Square for breathtaking nightly sunsets. It’s walking distance to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach (beach chairs & towels provided). Just steps to Mile 0, world famous Duval Street and the home of Ernest Hemingway.

Roosters Perch has a shared complex pool which is one of the largest in Truman Annex communities and has loungers for guests enjoyment.

The home is furnished and is turn key ready.

Location location location
Wonderful condo in the heart of Key West. No car needed, you can walk to the famous Mallory square to watch the sun set. Or walk to any of the fine restaurants KW has to offer. The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beach chairs are available ( short walk to Fort Zack beach). Highly recommended this wonderful condo.

Great location
We had a great stay! The location was ideal for walking and it was an amazing place with clean, quiet grounds! Air conditioning was phenomenal. Could use a grill and maybe a new fridge but it worked and served its purpose! Absolutely would give your place 5 stars!!!!!! We’d stay again, for sure! Thank you for a great stay!

Love Key West but Too Expensive
Loved the location and the property was great. Short walk to everything. Truman Annex is very quiet with lush tropical plants. Unfortunately, this is probably our last visit to Key West because everything has become incredibly expensive. There are so many other cities that are more affordable to visit.

Great family vacation
We loved our stay here. Very easy check in and out. We loved the location. Easy walk to Truman park, beach, fishing, shopping, dining out! We would have loved to rent a golf cart for our entire stay, but we didn’t want to pay to park our vehicle somewhere else. We love Key West so much, and this house was perfect for our family!

Property was as advertised. We did have a few issues during our stay. We contacted the property manager, Theresa, who was very responsive. The problems were dealt with in a timely manner allowing us to enjoy our getaway. Highly recommend The Conch Collection and especially Theresa for excellent service.

Rooster’s Perch
The condo is perfect for a couple or a small family. My husband is 90 and has Alzheimer’s. It is not an ideal location for someone with mobility issues, but it is a perfect spot for people who have no trouble with stairs and low toilets. It’s very “key west.” Very close to duval and all the fun.

We had several issues that arose during our stay and the property manager addressed them quickly. The location was perfect but the unit needs updating inside and out. A rusted bench and weeds at the front door do not promote a great first impression.

Reprive from the doldrums
It was nice and mostly as advertised. It definitely needed work in the bathroom, showers needed mat to prevent sliding, should have been instruction books for all the remotes that operate the TV's. Comfortable ,centrally located, and good for 2 people. Overall a nice place to stay, needs some updates.

Great spot! Almost Perfect...
Great location, clean and great communication from the owner. Check in was a breeze. Our flight got in way before check in, but we were able to drop off our luggage which we really appreciated. The pool was great as well. We never needed a car because everything was within walking distance. If I could give 4 3/4 stars, I would. There were 2 couples, and we both agreed that the beds were not very comfortable. Also, we all really enjoy cooking, especially when you can get such fresh local seafood...we made it work, but the cookware could use an upgrade. That being said, I would highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you so much!

Great location, comfortable accommodations. Great deck in back, access to the pool; terrific. 1 little thing. You’re renting to adults. To pay $4G’s for a weekly rental and have a cheap 4 cup coffee maker is silly.

Our family vacation
We have stayed in the Truman Annex before, but we were in the condos. The townhome was much roomier and allowed for more privacy. We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with our accommodations. The owners responded quickly to all our questions during our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property close to the Truman waterfront park, Fort Zachary Taylor beach & Duval Street. Exactly what we needed in a home for 11 nights, clean and bright, nice pool area to use a 3 minute walk away.

Getaway with hurricane surprise “Ian”
While deciding as we landed in Fort Lauderdale, getting news of a possible hurricane we called our host. Should we cancel or drive to the keys. No return call and we decided to go. Great house and lucked out with the hurricane. But never a response even during the hurricane from the host.

Great location
Exactly what we wanted. Very close to everything. Rented bikes and never drove the car all week. We had an amazing week and would come back to this rental in a heartbeat. You just may want to bring earplugs for the roosters at 5 am. This is not exclusive to this property, they are all over old key west. Overall we had a great time and will be back!

Anniversary Celebration
We were in Key West to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We picked this property because we wanted to stay in Truman Annex and it was a great choice! The location couldn’t be better. Just blocks away from great restaurants, parks, bars, shopping, and the best beach at Fort Zach.. Bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. Quiet and pretty village-like setting. Would stay here again!

Perfect location
Great location pretty much 15 minutes to walk to any of the furthest destinations you want - Southernmost Point, Mallory Square, Key West Marina, etc. Lots of close restaurants and bars. Complex is very nice, quiet, and safe. There was a bit of noise from the parking lot next door sometimes - but that's life in a city. Condo overall was great. We didn't actually cook while we were there (went to Publix and bought heat and eat meals), but there were pots and pans and a blender. I wouldn't plan a gourmet meal, but you could certainly cook a meal. Would definitely return.
