We loved our stay here and will definitely return. Although a short walk to everything, our cottage was very quiet. Great breakfast as well.

Tropical Oasis!

Ella's its such a cute, little oasis within walking distance of all you need. We had such a great experience. The breakfast and tea time are such a great touch. Miss Dina is a delight and very attentive. We'll definitely be staying at Ella's again on our future Key West visit.

Definitely going back. Perfect home away from home

I loved my stay at Ella's. I was solo and stayed in the City King. The room would be tight for two people, but for one, it's perfect. No dresser, no desk, but a chair and a bench and a hanging rack. Breakfast each day was lovely, enjoyed poolside, or in the dining room. Fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, lox. Tea time was also a nice touch. Pool area was great, plenty of shade. A/C and fans made the room comfortable. Robe was lightweight. Nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion--no need to back those. An easy one block walk off of Duval.

Wonderful Oasis

Everything about our stay was fabulous! The property is charming and welcoming. Our room was spacious and stayed blessedly cool the whole time. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and the afternoon tea was a perfect midday break from the heat. The location was perfect-central to everything and just a block from Duval, but somehow still felt quiet and secluded. We hated to leave after 4 wonderful nights. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Key West!

Great place to stay!!

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip. We had a nice king room at the end of the building with a large patio. We enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea and the welcome drink was a nice surprise! The pool area was nice and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool when we weren't out exploring Key West. The hotel is only a block or so from Duval but the property is so quiet and relaxing you would never know it. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Key West! We would definitely return!

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Diana and Michael set the tone as you check in or out. Both of them are an asset to this establishment. Morning breakfast and tea was delicious. Morning wakup call with the roosters made this place charming. Great location!

Good Value with exceptionally great staff

Great location just a block off of Duval. Bus stop for the Duval Loop (free bus service that loops around Key West) is just outside the front door. Bed was quite comfy, and breakfast was excellent. Note that if you're a light sleeper, you don't want to be in the City Rooms. They're just a few feet off the street and you'll hear trucks and motorcycles go by. Book the rooms off the street with the patios. Great splash pool and access to Winslow Cottages pool (larger with a bar) just a few blocks away.

This is a really lovely property in the center of Old Town with a really great, friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. There are lots of nice little amenities and touches for the guests. Everyone from the reception staff to the cleaning people were just wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great location

Comfortable stay. The really great thing was the location. Right off of Duval, and almost in the middle point of the island. Very peaceful and quiet. I will say that it was very hot at night. There is an AC but it only cooled the front room and not the sleeping area.

We really liked the location. We were one block off Duval. It was easy to walk to everything throughout the town. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They offered breakfast, snacks and drinks. We enjoyed a dip in the pool to cool down after a busy day touring the town. The room and the property was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

I would like to start by saying that staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I liked the vibe of the property overall. The room was much smaller and less equipped than I expected for the price. The road traffic was incredibly loud to the point that I almost switched to a different location after the first night. The room did not have a traditional dresser and overall it was fairly cramped. I did not see the other rooms on property, but I would not recommend the city room to anyone.

So inviting and relaxing!

Ella’s is a tropical paradise In the middle of Key West. Their attention to detail is unmatched in these beautiful bungalows. We had a king size bed, and one room and a quaint living room and two patios. We absolutely absolutely loved the decor of old Florida and the vibe l was all we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. These people work really hard to keep this adorable clean place up-to-date and modern. The “kitchen” is just what you need to start the day with beautiful, hard, boiled eggs, overnight, oats, fruit (And I mean, berries too!), Salmon, and breads. Also, the refreshing teatime was super inviting with sandwiches, macaroons, nuts, and the most delicious iced tea. We got there early and they stowed our bag so we can go to the nearest, relaxing bar, and have a cocktail or go to the beautiful butterfly garden! Absolutely will stay here again! 1st rate!

We checked in 07/10/2024 we arrived very late around midnight. The checked in was really smooth and the lady checked us in was really nice. The next day early morning we grabbed a breakfast at the hotel since they have breakfast included in our stay. That's around 8:00am, we were gone for 45 mins, when we come back from the room, the bed was made, the housekeeping was already cleaned our room. Before I left for breakfast, I took $400 from the bank envelope that I put in my LV purse, inside my LV big purse I have my small YSL purse. When we come back from our room, I notice my YSL purse was outside from my LV bag and the envelope money was gone. I have total of $3600 was stolen from us. We did not expected that the housekeeping will be there 8:15am morning. We called the police and reported. We are hoping that whoever took our money eventually return it. Be careful when you stay here make sure all your important belongings is safe and secure.
