Could be so much better
The good things about this hotel are the location straight on the beach, easy walk to old town and the good size of the rooms. What was not great was the fact that despite the hotel being almost empty, they would not allow us to check in when we arrived 45min before the check in time. My husband was feeling quite sick so he had hoped to be able to lay down. Not one of the 3 front reception staffwe encountered ever smiled! The decore in this hotel would be better suited to a hospital. Very uninviting. Our room was large with a great verandah overlooking the ocean, however the bed sheets were too short for the beds so our feet kept on touching the waterproof mattress protector and the quilts had no covers on them. I wonder if they replace those items between guests? No coffee or tea making facilities either in the room or foyer.

Good little hotel right on the water.
We decided to stay at the Inatel at the last moment when we arrived in Albufeira. We upgraded an oceanfront room with a balcony. The room was directly on the beach. It was lovely to sleep with the door open to the sound of the waves and to have a terrace with a view of the ocean. The room is a little dated. But, it’s not tiny. And it’s close to everything and convenient to old town and the shops and restaurants. It was clean, had everything I needed, the AC worked and the breakfast was decent. It’s a good little hotel for the price for a few nights. I was more than satisfied with it and would stay there again.

This is a hotel for the elderly (60+) breakfast is basic and the same food is served everyday, we got a room with a balcony overlooking the back of the hotel, not a great view so make sure you book sea view. Basic room, full of ants also on the bed so they do bite. Bathroom was a joke, no water pressure in a shower, or the sink. Tennis court and rackets needs a bit of TLC. Pool was good, but needed to be cleaned more often. Reception desk were sort of helpful, but what can u expect from a 3 star hotel. Definitely not coming back!

We loved this hotel...it was located in one of the best areas in the Algarve ! It is right on the beach ...make sure you get the Superior Room as you will have a balcony listening to the waves ...the breakfast was delicious... and there are beach restaurants nearby with delicious choices ! The pool was a great extra too ! We highly recommend this hotel !

The front desk people are bad. I requested a high floor when I booked, then when I showed up before check in time, I asked the guy again. He put me on the ground floor! I asked the girl I dealt with later if I could move. She said no, they were full. When I persisted, she went to speak to someone, and left me waiting for a long time. Then magically a higher floor room was assigned. The room wasn't cleaned properly and the bed was uncomfortable. I should have spent more money and stayed elsewhere

Outdated and old, dirty and stinky!! Please do not be fooled by photos, I left after first night!! This hotel is old and outdated with a smell in rooms. The floors are not clean even in Lonnie’s floors with full of stain. The staff can not help you at all. It is a big disappointment. The only positive is a free parking, that is all.
