Booked a last minute getaway at the Heron House in November 2024. The price was great. It’s adult only, which was nice. We had a room right on the pool area and were a little concerned it might be noisy but it wasn’t. Includes continental breakfast which was better than expected. The room was a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. Bed and bedding were comfy. My only complaint would be the water pressure was very low, but there was plenty of hot water. Location was great. Just a block or so off Duval.

Heron House is a very convenient and cozy place to stay. The reason I'm only giving them three stars is the room. The bed was uncomfortable - I could feel the springs in the mattress and the pillows were flat. There was no place to hang clothes - only drawers which doesn't work for all outfits. There was no hooks to hang towels and no stopper for the sink which is an issue if you drop anything. Also the breakfast was blah. But it was more reasonably priced and very convenient so I might find myself staying there - I will ask for a different room though.

Great property…everything was excellent…only thing that was not perfect was the check out experience..I had to leave early morning, but nobody was there to take care of my check out process and I was not informed what to do in this case…other than that very nice experience.

Location was fine, place feeling very aged. Patrick the host, was horrible. We were repeat customers (about 4 times) and were treated horribly from the start, with him being very argumentative. Very apparent does not enjoy his job and certainly lost this customer for any future stays.
