Horrible experience

We checked in Friday night. First noticed, and called office because the Air conditioner and TV weren’t working. I was told someone would be out tomorrow morning! After that call, we started unpacking and noticed the floors were dirty and covered in bugs. The shower had Mold growing in it and there were paint cans in the bathroom! All back and told them we were leaving first thing in the morning. Have called several times, and received several calls from different people. Bottom line, we left first thing Saturday morning! One girl I talk to said we could expect a refund, but considering I have still received text and emails asking about our stay, I won’t hold my breath waiting for the refund, so I have disputed the charges with my CC. I have several pictures of proof of condition of property, text informing that we left Saturday morning, and receipts of where we checked in once we left there!

Cute Key West Accommodation with Good Location

We enjoyed our short stay! The location was perfect - In a mostly quiet neighborhood but close to Duval Street, so walking to our activities was very convenient. Overall, the unit was clean with added touches such as mini-soap & mini-shampoo, plus some ice trays were ready in the freezer! Great for a hot day. The decor(chest of drawers, bed, & mirror) are rattan which gave a unique & classic "island vibe". Moving around on the bed is very loud due to the type of frame it is on. It wasn't a problem for us. Note for those of you who might have breathing issues: At first glance, the unit seemed worrisome because the A/C unit showed that the filter needed to be cleaned & the smell coming out of the A/C is very musky. There is also a lot of moisture damage, to the inside wall, under the A/C unit. There is some mildew on the grout in the shower(seems like a repair was done, but the wrong grout was used on the patch). With no air-flow to rid the bathroom of moisture, it's unavoidable. This made the unit appear dirty for my first impression. However, upon further exploration, the unit was cleaned with care. The floors, refrigerator, & counters were clean. The A/C unit is noisy(as "window shakers" typically are), but it also helped drown out noises from outside. Public parking is very limited (as stated in the listing), but there seems to be enough parking on the main street a block or two down. Check-in instructions were clear & the host communicated well. I would stay here again.

It was a good place to stay. One street over from Duval, so not where all the noise was late at night. Internet was to be desired. Also, need more wash cloths & bath towels.

New bed needed!

Overall nice stay. Did not like the fact that we could not check in 35 minutes early that was a little ridiculous! My other suggestion is to get a new bed, it’s clearly worn the f out, with indentations in bed, this is a clear sign, plus you can’t even get in bed without it making horrible cracking noises. ITS TIME.

Ideal for a few days in Key West

Nice little property to stay for a few days. As advertised with clean with a comfy bed, plenty of bath towels and a good kitchen. On street parking was a bit tight at times but we always managed to get a space. Wifi was good and available on the porch area but struggled to reach inside, and the AC wasn't the quietest although it wasn't as bad as I though it would be having read some other reviews. If you are after a base for a few days in the Keys it's ideal.

Great location but musty smell and uncomfortable noisy bed

It’s a great location. The island is only a few miles in each direction so most things are well within walking distance. Close to Duval St where everything is happening- shopping, dining, night life. However, the suite smells musty, the bed is uncomfortable and sits on a piece of plywood. Can’t get into bed or turn without it sounding like it’s going to break. The shower is very small- I’m 5’6” and had to stand against the wall in order to be able to wash my armpit! Lol. Bathroom door doesn’t open all the way because it hits the shower. I didn’t use the kitchen but it is pretty good. None of these issues might be a deal breaker for you, but it’s good to know.

The place was cute, clean, accommodating and the local was perfect to walk. Our only complaint was the bed every time one of us moved the darn thing made noise and woke the other up. If they changed the bed this place is a perfect and affordable place to stay.

Nice spot & good location

Came here to see family & needed a spot that wasn't too expensive, & this place worked perfectly. Notes below. -Felt like a good place for a solo person or couple. -Comfortable bed, A/C worked very well. -Very quiet area. -Really didn't cook on this trip, but the kitchen was set up nicely if I wanted to. -Shower was a bit small but usable. -Wi-Fi was horrible, IF/WHEN it even worked. Luckily I could use my phone as a hotspot. This was an irritant, but not a deal breaker. -Vacasa was very good about sending out emails/texts. I didn't need to contact them for anything.

Disturbing

There is no onsite manager or contact person. I do not recommend this property for single woman. It was clean and appointed fine. But, the leasing agent wasn't in control of all of the rentals. So even an issue was brought up the answer was well call the police. The unit next to the one I had tenants with serious issues of drugs and the woman didn't want what ever the guy wanted in the sex department. The worst thing was the property is fenced. The tenant in Unit 1 simply opened their door and their dog un leashed and suppervised would run around. I have a scotty. This dog ran right up and tried to attack my 10 year old Scotty. The male owner did grab his dog. I told him directly that my dog has been ill and I have spent a lot of money at the Vet on White street. Get and keep control of your dog. I left the property that day and went to a hotel. I still had one more vet appointment on the Monday by way this was Christmas day. It was a Merry one, not. So if there isn't onsite management of multiple units, I do not recommend. I have rented several over time and this was a waiste of money and my dog was almost killed.
