I have stayed at this property many times. After we checked in they advised us the water would be turned off at 9am. They knew well ahead of my arrival this would occur and should have notified me prior to check in. At 5pm the water was still not turned on. Management did nothing to assist with moving us to another part of the building or finding another hotel. They told us there was nothing they could do and we could leave if we didn’t want to use the shower and toilet by the pool. We left and I am waiting for Expedia to process my refund. I will never stay here again. There are many other much nicer hotels in the area.

My second stay here was disappointing. Though much pricier this time, I splurged due to my first great experience. The hotel now shows signs of deterioration—the room wasn't clean and looked old, even with an upgrade. The non-tipped staff were rude and uninterested. The valet was aggressive; after a long drive, I was told to move my car twice without any clear signs, and he demanded my keys as I checked in. The receptionist made no eye contact, didn't respond to my thank-yous, and spoke monotonously, even when mentioning my VIP upgrade from Expedia. While the location and room views are still desirable, and the beach restaurant is pretty, though overpriced, this will certainly be my last stay at Beachcomber.

Beautiful beach view! The rooms were simply decorated and very clean for a relaxing stay. The restaurant and coffee shop were both excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could not have picked a better place for our stay.

The suite was excellent. The balcony had a phenomenal view of the beach and the ocean. I believe the room was soundproof because we played our music without incident. We never heard other guests. Food and service from the concierge to the bar tenders were excellent. Everyone was so nice. We were treated like family.

Good, not great
Let me start with the good- the beach is super close and it’s nice. Nice pool too. Pool and beach towels available to borrow. Offer lemon water outside. Pretty decent food offered on premise but expensive. Cons- no hot tub, expensive food, no complimentary breakfast, you have to ask multiple times for towels, etc. Our shower and toilet barely drained and no one ever came to fix it despite our calls. They also didn’t put my family on the floor closest to our despite our request. It was an okay stay for a long weekend, but not sure I’d want to go back.
