Lovely place and was perfect for our stay close to London.
It was a great place to stay for us. It was quiet and close to all that we wanted to see. It just takes 4-5 mintes to walk to the train .station.

Family vacation
We enjoyed our stay. The bus stop and train station were just minutes away, and cafes and groceries were just across the road. The house had everything we needed (the groceries upon check in were very appreciated!). A great house, and we’d stay here again.

Nice place, the host controls the house temperature and hot water remotely
everything almost perfect but the host controls the heater and hot water remotely, at 1AM inside the house was 16C and no hot water

Beautiful place
Our family of 6 had a great 8 night stay. Accommodations are comfortable and everyone was able to spread out. The train is a quick 5 minute walk and a straight shot to Waterloo. It made commuting into London so easy. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, has a small supermarket, coffee shops and pharmacy right up the street. Communication was a breeze and we were welcomed with bread, wine, jam, and butter when we arrived (so grateful after a long day traveling from the US). It has everything you need and was an overall lovely stay.

Highly recommend
Stayed with family in May 2022, after reading excellent reviews where Martin was highly praised for his communication with renters (my main criterion). He certainly lived up to his reputation, always very helpful & responded to queries very quickly. I felt confident that if we had a problem he would be available to help. House very convenient for our needs. Clean & pics accurate representation.

Comfortable stay in a good location
We had good communication with the owner before arrived with clear instructions. The property was clean on arrival and the layout suited our group. The owner was very responsive when we couldn’t locate both and iron and a highchair and resolved both issues.

Great location
This was a great fit for three guys on a trip to see some sights and meet friends. It is so close to Ewell West station and so easy access to Waterloo station, parking is at the door, and it is located to places like, Epsom, Cheam, and the Surrey Hills. The kitchen is well equipped and we particularly appreciated the bread, butter, milk, wine, and coffee when we arrived. The layout is a bit challenging with a kitchen and small bathroom on the ground floor, a main bed and bath plus living room on the first, and two bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the second. The furnishings are a bit basic and the carpeting has seen better days. Ovewrall, it was clean, convenient, and quiet.

Clean and Welcoming Home
Our family booked this home for our first time visit to London. We found it to be a pleasant home home base for 3 nights. There was starter foods and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator which certainly helped us to feel welcome as we settled in. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We found the pictures to be accurate and had all the necessities one would need while on holiday. It was convenient to the over ground train station and co-op grocery store. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions about the property. Pictures were accurate and the home was as described. We enjoyed our stay at this home and would it recommend to others wishing to see the London area.

Awesome and Convenient HomeAway
We loved our stay at Sunnybank House!! We arrived to a very well-maintained townhome with all the amenities one could hope for. It is clean, spacious, bright and cheery and the neighborhood felt safe. There is a quaint train station just 3 min walk away and the local commuters were very helpful guiding us on how to use the transit system. A convenience store (Co-op) is just across the street. There is a nice local park and pub which we walked to on our first night. The bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet and my daughter especially loved sleeping in the dormered bedroom with open skylights at night. Everything felt very fresh and clean and the owner even left startup bread, butter, coffee, a few eggs etc. and a bottle of wine for our arrival! This owner was very responsive to all our inquiries prior to arrival and during our stay and went above and beyond what one would expect. We cannot wait to return to London and, if available, will definetly stay at Sunnybank House again.

Fantastic family base

Felt Just Like Being Home
Loved our stay at this property. There was a nice welcome pack of snacks and wine when we arrived and the place was very clean and tidy. We reported a couple of minor issues when we first arrived and these were rectified immediately by Martin. Our stay was hassle free. I would highly recommend staying at this property and we will be back to stay next year.

Correct, reliable and accurate from A to Z
With a group of six, including a child and a teenager, we spent almost two weeks in this house. The rooms are well arranged. An extra bed (at extra cost) simplifies the layout. The living room and kitchen are very large and appropriate for the number of people. Everything in the house is as described and the photos are also very accurate and up-to-date. A little more care with the dusting in the bedrooms might be good and one or the other piece of cutlery needs to be replaced. All in all, you will find what you need here and the communication with Martin is very accurate, fast and friendly. On arrival there was a nice welcome pack in the fridge and even more towels were brought as quickly as possible. We would also recommend the house because of the excellent location (really only five minutes walk to the station). However, you can hardly hear the railway line and the residential area is very quiet and clean. You can find everything you need in the small supermarket opposite on the main road, without having to go to a larger grocery store. The local delivery services (especially Tops Pizza) were also good and reliable. For ourselves, we would choose it again for a stay anytime.
