There was a water temperature fluctuation for my entire week at the hotel and hotel did nothing to accommodate or compensate for the issue and all they said was that they are unable to do anything about it, such a shame for a five star hotel.

This hotel is a great option for first timers in Dubai. Dubai mall is a quick 10 mins ride. There are decent dining/brunch options around. Brews cafe right below the hotel has some good food options. Overall, not cheap but reasonable for touristy standards.
