Very busy but very friendly. Tim & Tania were above and beyond. Only negative was 4th floor but Tim carried our bags up. Location was terrific, good wifi but no bluetooth

Lovely hotel and lovely staff, could do with a wiz round with a long duster for the high up spider webs . Breakfast perfect, would reccommend.

Great location, 15mins walk into york. Lots of restaurants, bars and eating places next to hotel, would definitely reccomend

This is a nice hotel. The staff is amazing here, very helpful, very friendly. The building itself is a bit outdated, the shower was something straight from the 60s, and all light fixtures were covered by dust and cobweb, but generally it's a well-kept and clean hotel. The pillows were super flat though!

Great location! Amazing hospitality! Fantastic breakfast! The staff at the Wheatlands Lodge Hotel is top notch. My brother caught the flu right before we left the States for England and developed a cough that could not be tamed during our trip. When we made it to York, Wheatlands was able to secure a second room for me during one of the busier times of the year (the annual Food & Drink Festival) so I could get some much needed rest after not sleeping for several days due to said cough. Housekeeping also took great care of our laundry as we packed somewhat light for a two week trip. Thanks Tim for everything! God Bless!

Was a very short stay but really enjoyed it. It was unfortunate that my room was behind reception and next to dining room so more noise than I’d have preferred but it was a single room which I’m guessing are limited. Very clean, bed comfortable, tea & coffee in room, nice breakfast and friendly service throughout. Would definitely stay again.

Beautifully presented flower beds and grounds greeted us on arrival and when at the reception the favourable impression continued with a friendly and helpful receptionist to greet us. Room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was quickly served and enough to set us up for the day and once again service was friendly and efficient with any requested extras produced with a smile and without out fuss. All in all a pleasant place to stay and excellent value for money.

Friendly staff Due to work in the car park staff helped us to park just round the corner. Complimentary drinks on arrival Rooms good size, beds comfy. Need to book restaurant early as when we came back from shopping it was fully booked. 10 minute walk into centre, ideal location .

It is a more elevated B&B experience but with the same homey feeling, the property is beautiful, the staff is kind and friendly, you can totally feel the British vibe all around.

Only stayed one night for a quick visit to York but received a warm welcome from all the staff. It was really quick and easy to walk into the centre of York from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely.We had such a lovely time we will definitely try to return for the Christmas market later this year.
