Facilities in reception, room and bar areas were excellent apart from tv kept switching itself off. Disappointingly slow service in the hotel restaurant when we had an evening meal. Breakfast was good though. Bed also wasn’t made properly, sheets and pillows in same state as when we left the room earlier in the room, just duvet that been pulled up. For the price paid, left with a feeling of disappointment.

Quick trip

Great hotel, easy check in and very helpful with booking in my car. Service in bar & resturant was a little.alow, but it was busy but on the.flip.side food was worth waiting for as fabulous. Room.clean and warm.

Amazing, we upgraded to a super deluxe room with rattan seating outside I used all the facilities gym, swim, steam room Breakfast was exceptional Couldn’t fault anything really Staff where super helpful

Excellent stay with my daughter.

One of the best hotel brrakfasts I've ever had and the leisure facilities were a great bonus. The room was cleaned to a hugh standard every day and i was goven fresh towels despute nit necessarily requesting them.

Great price and we got an upgrade which was nice. Used the leisure facilities and was very good. Very good choice for breakfast, the only downside was the evening meal which we felt was expensive for the steak as it was not very big. But that said I think we will be back

It was an ok property not the 4 star hotel that we expected. The amenities were not great, the beds were hard and the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The room heating was not working and we had to use an oil radiator. Overall, not worth the price we paid.

Well located hotel for a break in York

Location was perfect, Staff were superb, facilities great, breakfast amazing. Some areas looked a little dated, but didn't spoil the stay

Tired and needing a renovation

Car parking seems expensive, room was tired and needed renovation. No fridge in the family room, breakfast was a good selection but very busy, dinner was average. We will unlikely stay again.
