Little Gem
The Minster is in a great position for exploring York. There is also parking which is a bonus. Lots of choice at breakfast with local ingredients. Well worth a stay

Good Experience
Good experience, clean hotel, friendly staff, secure parking for £10 a day or free if you book directly on the hotel's website instead. Only problem we had which was no fault of the actual hotel was that we were on the top floor(room 12) which is 55 steep steps to get to, so would recommend contacting the hotel if you have an6 mobility issues to request a lower floor room. Hotel also does not have air con so summer months if the weather is good is very warm.

Perfect, location, cleanliness, breakfast.
The room, an economy-double, was just right for the two of us. Clean, the bed was nice and comfortable and the bathroom/shower was modern and really nice. The breakfast was great, a proper traditionally run restaurant, lots of efficient staff who do their jobs professionally. All highly recommended. Plus of course the great location, with parking, limited spaces first come first served, but there are lots of spaces.

Very friendly staff.Good breakfasts.Quite.Husband left his wedding ring in room when we left and didnt realise.Staff phoned to let us know they had found it before we left York so that we could return to collect it.Wouldnt hesitate to book this hotel on our next visit to York.
