From the time Caitlin booked us in until we checked out everything was first class. Friendly and informative staff A breakfast that catered for everyone. Clean and fresh room and bathroom. Would stay there again.

Excellent hotel

Genuinely so impressed with this hotel. A few minutes walk from the train station, in a great location for shops and cafes. The staff were lovely and helpful, rooms spacious, beds comfortable and very clean. Amenities were great. We were on the 3rd floor, very quiet for a Saturday night. We had some delicious mulled wine after a full day/night out which topped our evening off nicely. I was pleasantly surprised by breakfast, so much choice, my friend had the full English which she said was perfect, as a vegetarian I chose crumpets, greek yogurt with granola and fruit and some croissants, I could have had pancakes or waffles too, so much good quality choice. Checkout was flawless, we left our bags and went for another shop before heading to the trainstation. All round great stay.

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable at all. Neither of us slept well. The breakfast was ok. Disappointed for a Hilton as they had wooden stirrers not tea spoons on the tea and coffee tray in the room… no biscuits. I considered if it was me just expecting too much but no… I actually don’t think I am. We paid a little extra to stay at a ‘better’ hotel but it just goes to show the name doesn’t necessarily mean better. But great location for accessing York :) and parking was easy enough.

Very nice stay. Reception/checkin simple and they were polite. Room excellent. Aircon lovely bathroom and massive tv. Breakast included and was ok. Good choice but not pipping hot.

Great choice

Excellent location close to the station. All staff were v professional. Clean, well equipped, excellent choice at breakfast. Highly recommended. Only improvement would be fridge in the room.

Very quick check in with pleasant staff. Always willing to help and no problems looking after my suitcase whilst I awaited check in and on day of departure. Breakfast was provided which offered plenty of choice, all fresh good quality food
