The worst experience ever!!! Still waiting for a refund as I did not stay in it because I was terrible, hygiene 0 access to the room I was given had stair case and I had injured foot, no one offered to help with my luggage, stuff was untrained and while I took the lift 5 workers squeezed in with in the same tiny lift while one of them coughing and the whole country going through the corona virus crisis this guy did not care he was coughing in the lift in my face.. absolutely a horrible place. After getting that room at the top of a stair case I went to the room and it was not clean!!! No mini bar!! And cold room 😳 I walked back to the reception told them I don’t mind I need to upgrade to junior since mine was deluxe they said they are under refurbishment. Told her to cancel the booking she did and told to deal with ebookers. Called ebookers tens of times I queue for more than an hour listening to silly music and the call drop off. The chat is not working too as it is automated so how do I get my money back?? I paid £289 and I did not stay a minute in that horrible place. My advice AVOID Ebookers and De Verre at all costs.

Nice location with large grounds and good amenities. Bathroom was newer but the room was dated and somewhat dusty. No air-conditioning and windows that don't fully open. As the room was on an upper floor and it was a warm day this made it uncomfortable.

Great that we were able to check in early. Really comfortable room with French windows to grounds. Disappointing that bar ran out of baileys and amaretto on first night and didn’t restock for the rest of our stay. Too many young children in the bar so nowhere to sit but overall very nice hotel.

Fell below our expectations because: Check in - waited around 20 minutes at reception. Told there was no twin rooms remaining so we was being upgraded to a double superior. It then seems there was another problem, the manager said they were 'minus rooms'. We were advised it would take around 20 minutes to find a solution. Invited for complimentary drinks at the bar whilst we waited. Around 45 minutes to 1 hour after arrival, we were told room ready. It was a twin room. Shower hadn't been cleaned after last use. Dirty and someone's hairs in the bath tub. I do have pictures. Bath mat wet as if it had been recently used. One bath towel had been used and thrown over luggage stand. Bed runner dirty. Told duty manager Mohamad who quickly sent housekeeping. Room comfortable but very hot. Used the gym and pool on last day. Gym is good enough for a hotel gym. Lovely view over grounds and can watch planes come into land at Heathrow. Swimming pool urgently needs refurbishment. Metal fixtures rusty, paint falling off the walls and dimly lit. Not a pleasant place to relax, which we usually like to do at the swimming pool. Nice image of pool on ebookers app is incorrect. The pool is not finished to same high standard as rest of hotel. Bartender with blue hair and bar manager Mario friendly and made us a nice cocktail whilst we waited for check in. Below expectation for 4 star hotel in U.K. May stay again but not first choice

Great stay - nice hotel and grounds.

This hotel was a very pleasant experience, the room was very nice and looked like it had been recently refurbished . The hotel and grounds are immaculate well worth a visit . I’m not sure which hotel the people who gave it poor ratings stayed st but clearly it’s not this one . I look forward to staying at hotel again soon . I stayed for a wedding and all of the wedding party said the hotel was beautiful and the rooms lovely .
