Casita in Sarasota

Cozy, studio arrangement was ideal for me, friend visited and stayed a couple days. Superb location to keep the doors open, sitting areas. Ideal location, space, furnishings for me. Tucked in off a main highway. Walking or short uber rides, from everything I planned downtown, beach, swimming, ocean activities, grocery. Airport is a short uber ride. I stayed 9 days and did not rent a car. Bus is an option for longer distances. Exception was a couple days of activities in Temple Terrace/Tampa area north, with a friend who had a car. Unlimited activities nearby. I would recommend and return to this location.

Lots of character in a nice neighborhood. It was nice to enjoy the beautiful outdoor plants, pool and outdoor lights. Great to be close to the downtown area and beaches.

Sarasota cottage

Very nice property owner. He heated the pool to 84 degrees for us. The cottage is small. Our fault we should have read the description better. Very noisy because of the bar behind the cottage. Bathroom has a sliding pocket door which is right at the head of the bed. This cottage would be perfect for a single person. A toaster would also be a nice addition.

Perfect place

It is in a nice neighbourhood not far of the beach, shops, restaurants and attractions. The house is tiny but perfect for 2 persons. Cupboards are a little bit messy. Too much stuff of former tennants. Garden is fabulous with lot of space and clear water in the swimming pool.

Okay place, just not what we expected..

We booked to stay at the casita for a week, property is cute & pool is nice. Although the casita was much smaller than we thought it would be & the kitchen is very tiny. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was not working and wouldn’t be fixed until the day before we left. Very inconvenient. Would not recommend staying here for a week long visit (just not practical) We ended up leaving after just three nights and had to find another place to stay because we had no Wi-Fi and my boyfriend needed it for work. Also would like to mention that the beach that is less than a mile away is not really a beach, more like just a waterfront area with one bench. Felt like them advertising it as close to a beach is deceiving. Overall I think the place could use some upgrades.

Paradise getaway

The property is in a great neighborhood and has several beautiful blooming gardens and friendly gekkos in the ordoor space. The pool is well maintained and mesmerizing. I admittedly came back early from outings and the some of Florida's best beaches just to float in the pool! The home is small but very efficient. You have access to an outdoor grill, if you want to dine in or dine out with a variety of good restaurants nearby! I also highly recommend taking a daily morning brisk walk to Jack's Donuts. The owner makes great donuts and often sells out (he also has a cool car!) After my stay, I felt peaceful and well-rested. It was one of my most favorite vacations and I highly recommend this location if your, mind, body and soul needs a break!

Tropical Oasis

Our stay was like a tropical vacation all on its own! Lush landscaping, well appointed furnishings, crystal clear pool, quiet peaceful outdoor patio spaces. It is a truly lovely and convenient studio space with everything needed to make morning coffee or light lunches. Our host even has an outdoor grill ready to use for anyone who would like stay in for dinner. We highly recommend this little Casita Bougainvillea .

Wonderful hosts and charming property!

Traveling from Netherlands we arrived late in the evening. Stu the owner greeted us with super hospitality and even refreshing coctails! The villa is perfect for a couple. I can not say enough positive words about this location, the host and the beautiful landscaping. Forget hotels rooms, this place is ideally situated nearby the airport, museums, downtown, lido beach…everything you want to see in Sarasota is in close proximity. Great location

Great stay in Sarasota. The kitchen area is small so don’t expect to be cooking meals. The gardens and pool are beautiful and secluded feeling. To cold to swim in January though. The owner lives in the big house and greeted us on arrival which was a real nice touch. Location was excellent and close to the airport and many places to eat a short drive away.

Perfect Find

I was looking for a VRBO for a few weeks near Ringling College of Art and Design. This was literally across the street and was an incredible find. Beautiful pool area and lush vegetation to make you feel like you are in an oasis even though you are pretty close to the trail and a small shopping center. The space was as advertised inside and the outside space was exceptional. I walked down to Indian beach almost every night for the sunset and would even walk down to Wicked Cantina some evenings. The property manager was very responsive and met all my needs. Would recommend for anybody needing a spot in this part of Sarasota.

The pool was amazing!

We had a great trip and the house was perfect for just the two of us. You are very close to tons of activities and beautiful beaches. If you want good seafood we recommend Walt's! The pool was perfect though I was a little concerned because it states in the house rules book that you might habe to coordinate with guests staying in the main house and I didnt realize that was a possibility when booking online. Other than that it was perfect!
