Needs lots of love

Great location, helpful manager, fine for a short weekend stay! Scant kitchen supplies, no beach equipment. If shabby and grubby is the new chic, this is your place!

Great spot downtown

The property was exactly as advertised. It’s in a nice spot downtown directly across from the Pensacola Library. Definitely within walking distance of Palafox and more. The parking behind the building can be a little tricky if other guests do not see the assigned spots. Definitely a property we would stay at again.

Near Downtown

Convenient location to downtown (5 minute walk). We did not experience any annoying or loud noise from the permanent resident living above our unit. The reserved parking space in the back yard was wonderful. There seemed to be a half-way house across the street but it was not an issue at all. We always entered the unit from the back yard and felt quite safe. Melissa, the property manager was great. The unit was built a long time ago but was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay their again if we wanted to be close to downtown.

It's an old house with a permanent resident in one of the suites. Nice enough guy - we chatted on the front porch when we arrived. But, he leaves his door to the common hallway open and we head him watching Game of Thrones well past 10:00 p.m. There is what appears to be a homeless mission across the street, and the library next door is a sort of campground for them. We didn't mind or feel unsafe, but others may be uncomfortable with this. Inside, you can tell the age of the house. It works as a decent place to stay, but could use a little work - the bathtub dripped constantly, the toilet seat has got to be the thinnest piece of plastic I've ever seen, and the TV is too old to run Hulu anymore. Still, it was workable and nice and close to downtown.

Hopefully a new tradition has begun

Our stay at this VRBO guest house residence was very relaxing and fun. It was the first vacation together for my girlfriend and I, and we really enjoyed it. We spent many quiet evenings playing cards on the front porch, just hanging out with the friendly geckos,. The venue is near a giant white water tower, which served as an excellent marker to help us find our way “home” each night. The place is roughly 10-15 minutes from Pensacola Beach, and it’s easy to navigate your way to and from the beach. The only negative I can think of is the TV situation. It’s a Smart TV with no cable. We tried all the input sources, and none of them provided any results. So unless you have one of the listed streaming channels, you won’t be watching any TV during your stay. Which led to our new tradition of playing cards on the porch with our gecko buddies! (Watch ‘em, they cheat!) If we can manage to reserve the guest house next season, we definitely will!

Great location

This was the perfect size rental for me and my boyfriend, it was close to a lot of great restaurants and a very short trip to the beaches. The other tenants staying in the home were very friendly, I look forward to coming back!

Great Location!

Twenty minutes to the beach and perfect downtown location. The rental has a lot of old house character but is still comfortable. There were three of us staying here and we brought our own air mattress, luckily there was an extra quilt in the unit because we forgot blankets. We also loved that we never ran out of hot water in the shower, and the a/c and heat worked well. We would stay again

Great Customer Service!

My fiancé and I stayed here, spending most of our time at the local beaches, but when we were at the house it was a relaxing oasis to wind down after being in the sun all day! Only a ten minute Uber ride to the airport and max twenty minutes to the furthest beach location. Great restaurants within walking distance! The property owner was incredibly responsive and helpful with our accommodations!

Great Stay!

My partner and I loved staying here. The property is clean and quaint. Kyle, the owner was so kind and accommodating - she even allowed us to change the date of our stay since I was sick and needed an extra day to recover before traveling. My only complaint for this place would be that we could hear every footstep of whoever was staying in the unit above us. It was very loud and started at about 6 or 7 am every day. If you’re an early riser, I guess this wouldn’t be an issue but my partner and I wake up around 9am. Also there was a coffeemaker in the kitchen, but no mugs and no dish soap or sponge to clean the dishes we used. Additionally, towels for showering were provided but there was no shampoo/conditioner/soap of any kind. This seems to be a pretty standard amenity of a property rental nowadays. Other than those things, I would still recommend staying here. It’s great for a couples stay.
