Have stayed several times previously but this time disappointing. We reported our telephone in room not working on first day but never got fixed. There was no soap in dispenser for shower in room. Only 1 lift appeared to be working so quite long waits sometimes. Both mornings when had breakfast the floor was very dirty.

Clean and comfortable. Lovely big room. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I felt the decor in the room was dated and tired. Very dark furniture and carpet. However I would choose this company again.

Overall nice hotel, but when we arrived at the room it was freezing and the heating thermostat seemed to be broken vowing out cold air. We called reception and they inspected it, however as maintenance weren't on site and would be over an hour we changed rooms. The new room wasn't really the same standard, missing the fridge and having twin beds instead of a king, but the heating worked. However the shower was freezing in the morning, thermostat turned up to 50 still had no hot water. Seemed to right itself for the following day. Breakfast was ok but most things had ran out so had to wait a while for things to arrive.

What a disappointment. On arrival at Reception, the receptionist said,”You have £109 for the room.” I told that we had not, that we had paid £122 and showed her the receipt. She said,”Oh that is Expedia’s mark up.” We than asked to have breakfast added which was £15 per person. We asked for a receipt and were told we could not have one, we would have to wait until the morning. Considering the room was deluxe, it was no different to a standard room. In the bathroom the towel rail did not heat up, the extractor fan did not come on. The was no in room hotel booklet with instructions on how to work things or what was available. The TV was complicated to use. The evening meal limit. After ordering rigatoni, I was told there was not any, but there was ravioli, which was the same. I told the server that they are definitely not the same. The meal was average to poor. Breakfast was poor quality, standard buffet. Not worth £15 ahead. At check out when asking for a receipt for breakfast, we were told we couldn’t have one, because we had booked with Expedia! I pointed out we had paid separately for breakfast. Apparently, she able to produce a receipt, which would have been easier enough print off the evening before. Will not stay again.

Room was lovely and comfortable however we woke up to no hot water in the whole hotel however I know this isn’t their fault so not marked down for that. One way they did excel is my son has a nut allergy and the restaurant staff were amazing. Brought him fresh food cooked separately rather than breakfast buffet and even provided new cutlery, napkin etc. we have never received this kind of attention to detail ever. It was much appreciated

On arrival our receptionist was amazing and had a great sense of humour! The leisure facilities and staff were excellent Unfortunately our heating didn’t work and we were too tired to wait for maintenance to resolve We also didn’t get any bottled water in our room on arrival which was on their portal but the room was brilliant and so spacious so we’d definitely stay again
