Excellent stay

Only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. From check in to check out, staff were LOVELY and super helpful. Room was great, slept really well and can recommend the bar for drinks.

Cold and tired

Really struggled with the heating in the room, so it was cold all night and morning. The room and hotel itself seemed tired, worn carpets, chips in the bath. It could use some investment. Had a couple drinks in the bar, which were very expensive. And all the furniture in the bar was uncomfortable, we tried multiple seats.

Dated and dark interior. Back rooms are cold and noisy due to poor glazing. Top of rain shower head had about 20 years of accumulated grime. Never cleaned. Location good for quayside but it's not a luxury option.

Lack of information Wasn’t advised where breakfast was served Wasn’t advised of check out times Considering we paid £235 there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room At breakfast I drink black tea. Water was tepid and Earl grey tea tasted foul Breakfast was ok but very slow service and no orange juice

Will be going back however asked for food on returning from noght out and told kitchen closed and ended up getting out of vending machine. Looked next morning and realised room service available 24/7. Employee couldnt be bothered.
