I didn't like being asked to pay twice because I could not prove payment, then not getting an immediate refund, then receiving no reply from my email and then being told it will be resolved on the Monday It is now Monday; still no reply on my email

Great place to stay in a fabulous location.

Travelled all over England for a month, this was our favourite hotel. Spacious room, friendly staff, happy hour with good selection, highly recommended.

Bit tired looking, not like the pictures. The walls were paper thin too, could hear word for word what next door were talking about! It’s ok but not what I expected from the pictures and descriptions

Room was very cold as the radiators were not on a few other residents had complained but heating never came on . Bed was comfortable, and room was clean . Check in was swift and good amount of parking out back .

Parking was a problem. If you're trying to check in around 4/5pm then you will not be able to park as the gym membership people flood the car park. The staff were lovely, so no complaints. Great location if you're running the great north run although they will hike the prices. I had the pizza in the evening, I would not recommend. It tasted like a frozen pizza. A suggestion would be, if you're hiking your prices for the great north run at least provide a different menu with a more quality higher energy cleaner based menu.
