This property tried to be something it wasn’t! It was cheaply renovated. We had to change rooms because the first had a metal bar blocking the tv, no light in the bathroom near the sink (honestly), phone was broken and the towels we not dry. The second room was a bit better. The highlight was rooftop pool. Would not stay again

Good choice of hotel but lacks attention to detail. There were signs of wear and tear in the bathroom and could have done with a good deep clean in the bathroom. Hairs found on towels and service on reception wasn’t very inviting. I don’t think it’s worth getting a balcony room as there is no seating on the balcony and the room is big but not really filled with anything nearest to the door could have done with a sofa or something to fill the space and make you feel like you are getting a bit more for your money. Sun loungers were also broken. This shouldn’t put others off staying and I would stay again but only if there was a cheap deal on

I scheduled a stay to evade hurricane Milton, but circumstances prevented us from getting to the hotel. We never stayed and I even payed extra for the insurance to refund me money if this occurred, but now I’m being told I can’t get my money back even though WE NEVER STAYED THERE. I tried to cancel 15-20 minutes after I booked the stay and now I’m out over $500 for a stay I never utilized. This is insanity to me and I will probably never utilize Expedia again because of this. I also won’t ever set foot into this hotel and will make sure to tell everyone to avoid Urbanica the Fifth and Expedia as a whole.

What a cool place! Less than ten minutes from the beach LOVED the roof top pool and really appreciated be accommodation of early check in. We were traveling with tons of camera gear for a wedding on a cruise the next day and we so appreciated this. Incredibly comfortable bed and an amazing bakery, coffee shop, Walgreens and Mexican food within a block or two. A must see!

Ideally situated for Miami Beach. Can walk there within 5-10 minutes. Beware restaurant was closed while we were there which meant having to leave the property for breakfast - thankfully a lovely little Italian cafe a 1 min walk from the hotel. Also only espresso available in the room. This is advertised but I had overlooked. We liked the styling of the hotel, like an industrial theme and the rooftop pool was cool, never done that before - offered nice views of the surrounding area. Only there one night so not fair to comment on room service etc. felt like the room could’ve been cleaner for arrival but I wouldn’t go so far to say it was dirty - just a couple of overlooked bits that you don’t expect at this price point. You’re obviously paying for the location. Valet parking was very expensive and is on top of the resort fee ($50 per night) but felt essential if you want to park nearby you have limited other options. I would stay here again if I was in the area, these are just minor points we did enjoy our stay here.

The first thing Urbanica 5th got right is their front desk staff. They were terrific and very professional, especially Luna. The location is excellent; it is just a short walk to the beach and anywhere to eat. My two complaints are the pool needs regular maintenance. The pH needs to be checked at least twice a day due to how frequently the pool is being used. It would be best not to wait until the water is cloudy and Algae begins to grow. Secondly is the housekeeping staff. I know they work very hard but, the rooms/bathrooms need to be cleaned better. If you take your shoes off, wear white socks, and cross the room a few times, your socks should not be black if you just checked into your room. I asked the hotel to clean my room again, and they did. They need to have actual mini refrigerators in the room and not coolants. Esthetically, everything is beautiful, but the small details need to be attended to as well. The small corners and high places also need cleaning. There needs to be a supervisor checking their work. I will come back again.
