1- As we were going to the room, the elevator got stuck between the first and second floor. We were there for 10 mins. The elevators have a a weird system where inside you don’t press buttons, but you do it in the lobby and you take the elevator that the system tells you. It’s great to have new technology but very inconvenient and frustrating.
2- On the second day, there was no electricity in the morning, and therefore we woke up with no A/C and other inconveniences.
3- On the third day there were no clean towels. They blamed it on the electricity outrage, but still… No towels in a hotel of this category?
4- There were supposed to be a minibar with snacks and drinks, which it wasn’t but they installed one on our second day.
5- There were supposed to be slippers available in the room, therefore we didn’t bring flip flops. Slippers were not available.
6- From the two restaurants that they advertise immensely, one of them had a private party for two days , or two private parties two days, who knows, and not only we could not eat there but also they could not do room service either. The other restaurant didn’t have a menu interesting enough. They only had like 3 or 4 things as main course.
However, even though we had all these inconveniences, the staff tried their best to accommodate us and gave us credits for everything we went through. We even got a late check out on our last day and a few other perks. Though I appreciate all these efforts I would not recommend this hotel.
