The Mondrian is a classic high end hotel with all the amenities you can need. They are pet friendly and therefore my service dog was very welcomed. I had Charlie and ivy as concierges and they were both responsive to my asks and needs when I needed a late checkout and I discovered a few flaws with my room. If you want a Miami getaway where you don’t need to leave the premises for much. This hotel is the way to go. There’s also a Joe and the Juice a block over And a Whole Foods across the street.

Wasn’t told anything about the hotel or Miami when I arrived or welcomed warmly (after 9 hours flight to come here not great!), didn’t receive my Expedia benefits til I complained. WiFi doesn’t work in the hotel.. list goes on. Avoid! Nice bay view, 15min walk to sobe

Im in just shock. I just checked in late evening 10/13. Resort fees are outrageous. I got to my room and identified the following issues immediately: - Leaking shower - Dust on almost everything - not actually cleaned - wallpaper coming off. I am extremely disappointed as this was our first choice for our honeymoon hotel. We Will be here for 6 days- lets hope experience gets better and doesn’t not get worse by the day. 10/19/2024 *UPDATE* We were moved to a different room the same night. The new room was still dirty but cleaner than the previous one. -Chipped paint -Nail clippings from previous person on the floor -Stained bed sheets (we ended up purchasing our own) -Old food crumbs -Trash under the couch -Dust/sand under the rug (its Florida so the sand is understandable) -Dirty Rug -Leaking shower Needless to say- almost every other guest we met shared how they had the same experience. Staff was very pleasant, breakfast was delicious
