No fridge in room, hot water not hot, tv not working at first, ice machine broken, 4 guest only 2 towels had to ask for more, very low pressure in toilet flush, oil for Exxex house by Clevelander is 1 block away so you have to walk a block away to go in the pool, asked for a dredge on my way out came back and the just pushed a dirty fridge in the room for me to find a place to plug it in and it was unclean and had 2 empty bottles in the fridge. Was very very disappointed and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Will definitely share my experience because I have visited the Miami Beach area several times over the years and we held the Clevelander in high regard. Not anymore.

Great spot close to the strip, very convenient. The hotel is by no means top notch but it’s not bad for someone who isn’t too picky. They need to invest in some new furniture, put a microwave, in the room, and fix the broken fountains. I highly recommend getting a suite instead of a basic room, as it had a lot of room and I loved the huge bath tub and shower combination. I would stay again.

I highly recommend Essex House by Clevelander to anyone staying in South Beach. The staff here are amazing. They are very friendly and acomidading. Location is perfect. The rooms are nice and clean and house keeping staff are awesome and do a great job. I'm definitely coming back to this hotel
