the valet that I paid for was consistently late. Also despite paying for the valet service. the hotel repeatedly tried to charge my credit card. They failed to realize that I had initially used apply pay on check in which is why the automatic payment was not working for them. Thereafter the hotel manager disabled the hotel key card for my room without ever once thinking to call me and notify me. this was on the day of check out when my suitcase were stuck in my room. That was not only rude but completely unnecessary. A simple phone call would have solved the issue.

Modernist hotel with fabulous views
We stayed at the Bentley for a pre-Christmas family holiday. Whilst the weather was at bit hit and miss, the hotel was lovely. We had a penthouse room overlooking the sea and I highly recommended it. We also had a standard room. This was good value but lost the lovely views. For a heritage hotel, it was a pleasant surprise that the room was large and very modern. The terrace was enormous with fabulous sea views. The rooftop pool area is also very spacious with great views. The hotel is well located at the start of the South Beach heritage area with a huge selection of restaurants on its doorstep. Probably the nicest section of gardens and beach is directly in front of the hotel. The free tram service (The Trolley) goes up Washington from near by if you don’t want to walk to Lincoln Mall etc. One tip, for a day trip, is to hire a car from Sixt on 5th. We rented one for an Everglades trip. Their car park is two blocks behind the hotel, so you can pick up early and drop back late for about $100 all in. The staff were lovely and there are also a few freebies (breakfast snacks, coffee, sparkling wine) in reception at various times during the day. The ground floor is being refurbished with a new restaurant/bar opening in the New Year This is a heritage hotel. If you like that quirky vibe, in a fabulous location, but with modern rooms and nice staff it’s worth looking at it. .

SOOO LOUD here. Fire alarm goes off every 10 minutes (so various guests). Bringing your own hair dryer? Don't. It'll set off the fire alarm. Also, they're doing construction so if you're on the lower floors, you'll be deaf. If you are deaf, you'll enjoy this place.

My stay was excellent overall. However, I have two issues. 1. The bed was hard 2. The lounge chair provided for the beach were damaged and sat too low. Overall, I can see where the hotel was making improvements. The cost of the stay was perfect for my budget.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. I was nice overall. One of the beds was in poor shape and the sofabed seemed dirty so I did not dare to sit in it. Breakfast was terrible. Pool is small but clean. Staff are very nice. The area can be very loud at night but maybe this was because I stayed there just days before Art week.
