The location of the property is fantastic, central to the Northern Quarter. However until early hours in the morning you could hear the music and the customers in the bars across the road and downstairs really clearly through the single paned windows, we also were woken up around 8am with bottle bins being emptied rather loudly. You could also hear everything that went on in neighbouring rooms and corridors. We struggled to get any hot water in the shower and the Overall cleanliness could have been a bit better in the bathroom, clean the showerheads and fix toilet seat fittings. The staff were spot on, very friendly and happy to help.

Great location

Great location and just 5 minutes walk to the city center, spacious, very clean, graat price. Unfortunately it is quite noisy at night, while there is 2 pubs around, people are drunking until 1am.

Alot of work to be done but nice staff

To say we stayed in November there was no heating in the room as shown on the pictures and was absolutely baltic arriving also to find all windows open. Unable to turn on heated towel rail to try and get some warmth and the noise out side kept me awake

Great location. Private room was great (no frills but very cute decor) aside from needing to pay extra for a towel (towel costs £4 but is large and plush). I don't recommend anyone who is a light sleeper to stay here though. Weekends are loud with music from local bars, and even Monday and Tuesday nights there were drunk bar goers being loud in the street until about 2am. It's totally safe though, and other than that, a perfect location and very comfortable.

Very good price for what we got, staff were really friendly. Only thing that was a let down was cleanliness of the bed sheet which didn't seem like it was cleaned properly. It was noisy outside but I expected that to be honest with it being central in NQ

Rooms Vary Significantly

This was my third time staying in this hostel. I booked the same kind of room each time around, and each experience as been incredibly different. Sometimes there's loads of space and other times you can barely get the door open. Sometimes it's really clean, other times the drains are clogged and there are bed bugs. Sometimes the bed pods appear brand new and other times they seem like they're falling apart. It's difficult to tell what mix of things you'll end up with.

No wifi, bit untidy

Stayed one night at PT only girl dorm. The only pluses were that the staff was exreamly nice and the lication was exelent. Unfotunately the minus list is a bit longer. The biggest issue was that the wifi didn’t worked at all. The manager and the other staff memebers tryed their best to solve the wifi problems but still - no wifi. The room and the other areas were bit dirty and have seen their best days a while ago. Also the room was really noisy. All the sounds from elevaitor and from the hallway could be heard clearly to the room. In the common area the fridge made also such a loud noise that I thought it’s going to explode. Maybe an update to the interiors, wifi and cleaning could lift the place to a glory.

Very convenient location, although can be a bit noisy due to the pubs downstairs but I personally had no problem with that. The bed was comfortable although the room there were no windows so it smelled a bit mouldy and the rest of the furniture in the room and in the common areas were very old and dirty

Very Tight Room, Good Condition

The room itself was quite cramped. There was hardly any room to open the door to enter without it almost hitting the bunks. The bed pods are in great condition and the locks work well. The privacy curtains are super great, and it was nice that they provided a fan because the room got really warm at night. The bathroom was very clean, and the room was pretty well soundproofed even though it faced the street. Check in was easy, and it was nice that check out was so late. Also, the staff are very friendly, and there is plenty of room for luggage storage. Highly recommend.
