Hotel lovely overall. Paid for two king size bed suite and got a double and a king. When questioned they argued it was two kings but you could clearly see they were different sizes.

Superb rooms in such a lovely hotel. Very Christmassy too. Be difficult to find a better hotel on Machesters central city. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

Kimpton Clocktower very nice Hotel

Beautiful interior in this Hotel having been the HQ of Refugee Insurance. Room and service were very good, nice bar area and Breakfast was good.

Had a great stay at the clocktower! Everything was beautiful and clean. The reception area itself is very impressive. The only downfall was housekeeping. On the day we checked in, we received turn down service at night. Our room was left one tony’s chocolate (which is my favourite) between 2 of us. My brother and his partner did not receive anything even though they were just next to us. The following day, we didn’t receive housekeeping in the morning or the evening. Not sure why. Neither of our rooms did which was disappointing.

Beautiful hotel.

The building is magnificent and the rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. Everything is top quality, including the staff. This isn't the cheapest place to stay, but if you want somewhere special I think Kimpton is a great choice.

Lovely stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free mulledcwine x and mince pies which was a nice touch. We had a room in the basement so there was no view, but the comfy beds and hot shower ( although tricky to work out) made up for it.

Worth staying for the Victorian architecture along. Otherwise a perfectly good hotel of itts class But the show didn't work properly and nor did the washbasin plug.

Worst hotel ever!

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had! Arrived at 5pm after running 80km over the mountains to be told my room is not ready and could be another 90mins (3pm check in), noting I had also booked a suite!!! The got told to go wait in the bar, which had no space to sit down apart from the sofa area I was told was not available for me! I got offered one drink to apologies for absolutely ruining my day! Also the suite was rubbish, smallest and worst shower/bath. And even better god knows what happened in there the day before but the place smelt of bleach!

Stunning hotel

Stunning hotel and facilities would definitely stay here again. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. We ate in the garden room and food was delightful.
