Check in was slightly chaotic due to no formal queuing system but the staff on the desk and the room itself was lovely. Not a fan of the amount of dirty laundry in the corridors when we were going to our room and was a little frustrating when I had lot had confirmation of the birthday package being added but, sorted that supper quickly so no real office.

Excellent location

Excellent position, few minutes walk from Piccadilly station and only a few minutes walk from the Christmas market. Wanted to upgrade to a larger room when arrived but the hotel was full and couldn’t offer an extra bed in the room. Thus 4 stars instead of 5. Food from the evening menu was tasty but expensive, but then you are paying for location as much as anything. Staff were all lovely. Basic toiletries in room, tbh a bit disappointing considering how much the nightly charge is. Literally just a liquid hand soap at sink, wall mounted shampoo and a shower gel in the super large shower. No shower cap, body lotion, cotton wool etc. I get that hotels have to cut back to make a profit but I do find this practice of doing away with the individual toiletries in hotel rooms just rather cheap. If the nightly rates were reduced to take account fair enough, but they’re not! Great air con, comfy beds and good tv selection. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets but only one packet of biscuits. This was a twin room which means two people staying, again just verging on being cheap in order to save a few pence. Overall I would recommend and would stay again if being near the centre was important.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful - they couldn't have been nicer. Lots of other pluses about this hotel, starting off with its location. It only took 5 minutes by foot to get to the many trams, buses, and trains that serve Piccadilly Station and Gardens. Look for the skywalk to the station - very cool. Only one note of caution: I'd recommend requesting a room that doesn’t face Roby Street in the back of the hotel because its blocked off and used for deliveries, which can be noisy and start early in the morning.

Great location & well presented hotel

Conveniently central location just a short walk to Piccadilly train station. The hotel is very well maintained & decorated. Rooms were spacious with good facilities. Very nice bar area which is where breakfast is served. We had breakfast included & there was everything you would expect for a buffet plus the option to order poached or an omelette. We would definitely stay here again.

The wait times to check in were very long, the staff member on the bar was incredibly rude and short changed us “said she didn’t have the change” after already taking the money. The room had marks and stains in the furniture which was very disappointing we paid for a premium room and there was nothing premium about it every time we went to our room the key card didn’t work so we had to keep going back down and having it re set every time which was very frustrating not a very good stay.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable with good facilities. However the staff let it down especially in the bar/ restaurant section. Simple cocktails can’t be made even if they have the ingredients on hand and no willingness to listen to suggestions.

Perfect centrally located city hotel

Stayed one night as attending a music concert. Lovely hotel. Close to the train station. Clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Friendly staff, really, lovely breakfast.
