This hotel is a good budget friendly option. It’s a little old but you can tell they try their best to maintain it. It’s small but in a great location for tourist. Outside is allowed but once you go into the hotel you don’t hear a thing. Since you’re in the square, you can’t get picked up in front of the hotel. A 1 mins walk to the road. Overall I would stay here again if I’m trying to save money.

Nice hotel close to theatre, we were on top floor which was great but they did have lift issues which meant waiting a little longer at busy times. It’s quite a noisy area but after 11pm goes quiet so no issues with sleeping etc. We did find though an awful smell coming up through drains in shower and sink in bathroom and had to put towels over and keep plug in sink likely due to the age of the building but facilities spotless aside from that.

Great hotel in the heart of everything.
Great stay at this hotel. Amazing location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and very clean. Even though we overlooked the main square, noise was minimal. Very comfortable and would definitely stay again.

We liked the hotel and my son wanted to rebook The hotel offered a reduced rate to not use hotels.com However when he arrived the hotel said that date £288 was only for 1 night not 2 which is what we asked for on 2 occasions!! At best this is a mistake by the hotel at worse a very very devious and fraudulent way to deceive an 18 year old naive boy

great location. The rest is ok, more like a 2 1/2 stars than a 4 stars. My bathroom needed urgent maintenance. Missing basic bathroom supplies like conditioner and body lotion. housekeeping unreliable. as much as I loved the location, I would not stay again there.

Should’ve taken the reviews seriously. No room available when we went to check in. Taken to another hotel that was nice but very small and we were on a short turnaround for dinner. First time I’ve had an issue with a hotels.com booking, but has really made me nervous about future bookings
