Nice area and a short walk from the tube station. Unfortunately on arrival our room smelt like pee. I opened the window before we went out at about 4 and when we returned at 11.30 pm it wasn’t too bad but decided to leave the window open all night

During booking it was stated that breakfast was included but it is not true, meaning you guys lied to the customers and I was so mad. The bathroom was very small I couldn’t even turn around when having taking my bath

its a cheap hotel nothing really bad to say you get what you pay for, i would stop there again for it's proximity to shops and tourist spots. Room 53 is very noisy all night from an air extraction unit on the roof

Cheap nights stay, no frills or thrills
If you take this as exactly what it is and that is a cheap stay in a nicer part of London then it’s a great fit. The bed was comfy and room was modern, it had a smart tv and air con, the shower was nice and hot with good pressure too! Just don’t expect perfect, the tv only works on anything BBC, one out of the three pillows had a blood stain on it, none of the tiles on the bathroom floor were stuck down anymore, the toilet seat slipped from side to side anytime you reached for the loo roll and the air-con didn’t work even though the room stat showed it working (the give away was the vents stayed closed). Reception staff were polite and helpful and as I said the whole place had a modern feel, if you just want a cheap base for sightseeing, then this is it.

This was our third time staying at the inn and it’s been completely changed since our last visit. Gone is the continental breakfast and outdoor breakfast area that we enjoyed. The rooms are quite small as we expected but our bathroom was unacceptable. There was mold in the shower, a cracked & loose floor tile and a stupidly placed shelf over the sinks that prevented us from washing our faces. The afternoon staff on check in was not very friendly or welcoming.

Room was small, but it's London so that's expected. It was clean, safe, and the front desk staff were always sweet and helpful (and we were a bit high maintenance at times). I would definitely stay here again!

I would have rated this a high 4 but there was no air conditioning and the description said there was AC. Apparently they had 6 rooms with AC - we were not in one of those 6. Poor advertising, not sure if it’s an Expedia issue or the hotels but not acceptable. Unfortunately, we didn’t have another option since there weren’t available hotels. If you rent here, know you’re not guaranteed AC.

Book it! The location is perfect and so close to the train & bus station. Dining options are plentiful - close to all the attractions - safe & walkable. The hotel itself is great as well! Staff is so friendly and always greet you with a smile. We arrived early and they held our bags until we could check in (such a nice perk). Our room was exactly as photographed - clean, comfortable beds, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are on the small side - but how much time are you really spending there? The bathroom is gorgeous - newly remodeled and done very, very well. Hot water, shower pressure is great, and enough fluffy clean towels for everyone (and then some). No complaints at all - Thank you so much for a perfect stay at a VERY reasonable rate!
